Luke Hass on Prop-8

 tomgerace

My fellow Bostonian, Tom Gerace, Founder and CEO of gather.com posted this article on his social networking site. I really enjoyed the article and thought it would be an interesting article to re-post here on Just One Hot Minute. The photo below is of Tom, isn't he a cutie?
Typically, when we talk about silver linings, we mean small, ancillary benefits that are overshadowed by the cloud itself. For example, I might write, “I got dumped this weekend, but the silver lining is I saved $751 on a plane ticket to Chile, $340 for a hotel room, $50 for roses, and my pride.” But I digress. Yesterday’s Proposition 8 ruling by the California Supreme Court is a bitter disappointment to thousands of Californians and their friends across the country. But this is the rare case where gay rights supporters may look back and discover that the silver lining meaningfully outshines the gray. Why? The fight over marriage equality is radically altering how many Americans think of gay and lesbian people. It has, in effect, rebranded what it means to be gay. Over twenty years ago, legal pioneers like Evan Wolfson began the fight for equal rights for gay and lesbian Americans in the courts. At the time, the general public defined gay and lesbian identity in terms of sex and certain, rather specific, sex acts. They had vivid images of these acts (many, at the time, illegal), and created related, profane phrases to describe and categorize gay people purely in terms of sex. When, in the mid-1990s, Wolfson pushed for equal marriage rights, many in the gay community were worried that he was overreaching. They encouraged leaders in the community to wait and focus on gains like employment and housing non-discrimination. A decade later, when the Gay and Lesbian Advocates and Defenders filed the case that established legal same sex marriage for the first time in the United States, in Massachusetts, the same fears persisted. What Wolfson and GLAD may have known, but has not been commonly understood, was that the marriage fight itself would bring great benefit to the gay community. The fight over equal marriage has redefined gay and lesbian identity in terms of love. And this redefinition has made gay and lesbian people more acceptable to the general public and equal rights easier to win and protect. During the 1996-1999 Hawaii marriage fight and the subsequent state-by-state battles that followed, images of committed gay couples and loving gay families have filled the media. Each time that the battle is joined, same-sex couples that have been together for decades are shown holding hands and asking for the right to marry. These are not the sexual deviants depicted in profane phrases twenty years ago. We see images of two forty year-old women, watching their children play with the family dog in a front yard. We see two elderly men, describing their half-century together. We witness in their stories the same joys and same challenges that any family might face. And we hear them in the context of gay and lesbian people seeking recognition of their love. Today, tens of millions of Americans will hear that the court upheld Proposition 8 and learn that it’s a setback for gay marriage in America. But this same setback may well be part of a much bigger step forward for gay rights in America. Those same tens of millions will see images of gay and lesbian people in loving relationships. They will hear their stories. They will have images of loving couples and their families imprinted in their minds, filed as the new definition of "gay." And while it may have been easy to hate someone because of how they had sex (twenty years ago), it’s a lot harder to hate them because of whom they love. Abraham Lincoln once said "Those who deny freedom to others deserve it not for themselves." It doesn't matter what the generation before you told you the Bible said (even though it doesn't), and it is not true that denying rights to a group of people based on the way they were born will somehow change them. When the issue of marriage equality arises in your state, do the right thing and support love, not hate.

Luke Hass On Burning Desires

luke1Hello everyone. I've been in many productions before but I don't think I have ever anticipated a movie to come out so much like this one, besides my very first, of course. Burning Desires is my first film after I left Raging Stallion and I was really excited to shoot for Falcon, especially when I got to pick Tory Mason to be my scene partner. Tory and I had met at last year's Grabby Awards (thanks to RJ) and I was totally infatuated by him and as far as I was told I was also "his favorite porn boy" and I had no idea - believe it or not. lol The movie is coming out April 14th but Falcon has released it online on Falcon OnDemand if you can't wait another week. I watched the scene a couple days ago and I have no doubt this is my all time favorite. The chemistry between Tory and I was something I had never experienced on a set before. Below are a couple of snap shots of Tory. What ya think ?

I wanna say thanks again to Troy Pricket, casting director at Falcon for the amazing opportunity. To the guys at Chronicles of Pornia I'd like to say the love and respect you have towards me is totally mutual and I can't wait to meet you guys as well. To DeWayne for supporting me from day one. And of course, Gorgeous Boys and Just One Hot Minute for not only doubling my exposure with this second outlet, but also to Matthew and Mark for all the technical support they have been giving me for the past few days.Speaking of Chronicles of Pornia, they put me up for 2 awards on their 1st Annual COP Blog Awards. They made a list with what they believe to be the overlooked people or material in the industry and the fans can vote. I'm up for best overlooked sex scene and best photogenic cock and balls... Piece of cake. Be sure to place your vote, I'd appreciate it if you did. VOTE VOTE VOTE lol  [Gallery not found]

I hope you guys enjoy the pictures. I, undoubtingly, enjoyed them very much, if you catch my drift :-p Until next time Luke ps: I don't know about you, but I think Kurt Wild would look as good as Tory did on those pictures. What do you think guys? How about you Kurt? :-p

I'm A Gorgeous Boys Lover

lukehassmainI'm no longer a boy but I never ceased to be gorgeous :o ), I also never ceased to be a boy lover lol that's why I was extremely flattered when Matthew contacted me and offered me a spot on 'Just One Hot Minute'. I dont think he had any idea what he was getting himself into, I mean I'm one of the most unreliable bloggers out there :o ) I really love to write but only when I have something interesting to say. This first post here on J1HM is mostly to introduce myself to the readers here in case they're not familiar with who I am. In short, I've been in the industry for a couple years and in this short period of time I've worked with the greatest studios in the U.S., like Raging Stallion, Falcon and just very recently Titan. I've met and worked with porn gods like Brent Corrigan which I greatly admire and I have been nominated for a total of 5 GayVN and Grabby Awards. [Gallery not found] A friend of mine once wrote "9.5 reasons why you should like Luke Hass" ... It's a fun reading so I thought it'd be a cool idea to repost it here. I hope you guys enjoy it. Just bear in mind the text is about a year or so old.

9.5 Reasons I Like Luke Hass

By Russell J. Saunders
 1. In all the years I've been writing about models and porn (about 10), I've rarely met someone who is so natural on camera and who enjoys being such an exhibitionist. Luke loves his fans as much as he likes playing with himself. And to hear him tell it, he can masturbate 6, 7 times a day.
 2. Luke is the original multi-tasker: I've seen him talk on line, watch TV, and text message friends all at the same time. While being hard. He's always hard. That's another reason to like him. He is hard when he is soft. It's kinda unnerving actually.
 3. Luke is fearless. A few weeks after we started chatting over the Internet, I asked him if he ever considered doing porn. Unlike some models who hem and haw and spend weeks wondering whether they should or shouldn't, he replied in like two seconds. "Where do I send my pictures?" (For the record, I recommended he send pictures to a few different companies. They were all interested, naturally.)
 4. Speaking of naturally... the boy is naturally gifted. I believe him when he says he doesn't go to the gym. And he says he comes by his rock hard six pack and great calves through "genetics. All my brothers look like me, too." (Note to self: Find out where his brothers live.)
 5. Luke tells great stories. And even better, they are true. Like the one about him and the guy in the car... a friend he was driving along with when they got lost and decided to pull over for directions. Luke was driving, but within a few minutes He and the friend were in the back seat and Luke was driving his big dick into the guy's tight ass. (Unfortunately, when Luke and I drove together recently, he carried a GPS with him and we didn't get lost. Darn.)
 6. Unlike many models and porn stars, Luke is personable and funny. Some models, how to put this nicely, are about as interesting as bricks ... but Luke is quite smart, accomplished (he's run a business) and quite a brilliant photographer. In fact, he takes very impressive pictures. He takes a lot of great pictures of himself, too. Then again, anyone could take good pictures of him.
 7. He has a great ass. The ass gets lost in the shuffle ... when you have a 9x6 cock guys don't tend to check out your backside. He's got the perfect bubble butt ... all you have to do is walk down the street with him while he is wearing jeans. While walking down the street with him in San Diego a while back, 3 different men commented on his ass as we walked by. My ass ain't bad. And no one said anything.
 8. Which reminds me ... how sweet Luke is. Even while he was getting all the attention, he made me feel like $1 million. Although he does have this uncanny knack of saying a compliment that could go two ways. "You're cute ... for someone your age." I DO believe he meant that in the nicest way.
 9. And that reminds me that Luke is really so charming, he could sell sand to an Arab. I first thought, it must be an act. No one is always that nice, and kind, and sweet and  ... hot. Not in Los Angeles anyway ... land of egos. I've been trying to get Luke to move West ... California needs more people like him around. Then again, he might move here and become a swelled-headed model who thinks he walks on water. Nah. Never going to happen.
9.5 Okay ... I waited long enough to mention his dick. He says it's "only" 9.5 inches, but the truth is, and it's no camera trick, it looks even bigger in person. And it really hurts when you sit on it ... not that I sat on it, but I talked to people. Research, you know. But Luke is not just a pretty face or dick. And for lack of a better word, a lot of hung models walk around, uh, cocky ... but not Luke. He is down-to-Earth, a free spirit, a kind soul and a future big star. And not so far in the distant future either. I told him not to forget that I sorta "discovered" him before he became a big deal ... but the truth is, and not just physically, Luke Hass was a big deal before we ever crossed paths!
I hope you guys enjoyed the reading and the exclusive pictures I created for this post. I also have to mention one of the reasons why I'm mostly excited for being part of J1HM is because Kameron and MJ are here and I have a huge 'porn crush' in both of them :-p hit me up guys lol jk jk Until Next Time xoxo Luke
