Understandable, in that Mason has posted to date three radically different versions of the alleged crime (not counting a "South Park" posting trivializing the whole affair): 1) A "Rape Reality [Part 1]" post; 2) A "Rape Reality Part 2: The Truth" post, written only after bloggers found numerous factual holes in Part 1, in which Mason changes the story to plug those holes, and explains why "Rape Reality" was actually a rape fiction; and then finally 3) Rape Reality Part 3: The Closing Statement post, written only after bloggers discovered numerous factual holes in Part 2, in which Mason changes the story to plug those holes, and explains why "The Truth" was actually a lie. Now, on top of that, we add a fictional "Lost Wallet" that started the whole thing post, a brazenly forged police report (apparently, an actual online Dallas PD report altered in Photoshop, now deleted), and dubious "rape" photos that seem to portray inconsistent injuries (ie, neck lacerations on one photo absent from another), and the reasons for widespread skepticism out there become rather apparent. Mason's reaction to all this skepticism: "Honestly, I can't believe I went through all this effort just to prove myself." Now, this little contretemps is already being covered expertly on many many many many other sites. But here at SOTC, I'm going to cover this in a slightly different way than the rest of the pack: I am only going to report the KNOWN FACTS in this case, along with only the most reasonable inferences which can be drawn from those facts. In other words, SOTC shall be a "no bullshit zone" for purposes of Mason Wyler discussion. And this means, I'll not be including anything sourced Mason Wyler to himself - past, present or future - as "known facts" in this case. The other sites linked above have spilled a veritable Caspian Sea of ink on describing the various times, places, cities, number of victims and other details given by Mason throughout his three versions of the alleged rape. I shall not do so here. Based on his track record, anything he calls "Reality" or "Truth" or "documentation" could easily turn out to be fiction, lies and/or forgeries at the drop of a hat. As far as I'm concerned, he is totally useless as a source for reliable information in this case. So, cutting out all the unreliable info out there, what are we left with as "known facts?" Remarkably little. All we have currently are two police reports. We can draw a number of known facts from them, as they are available from the Dallas Police Department online; here they are: http://66.97.146.94/dpdpublic/ReportOutput/1822975350.html and http://66.97.146.94/dpdpublic/ReportOutput/879760513.html So, what do there reports tell us? Well, that there were two aggravated assault complaints filed with the Dallas Police Department on September 20th. And interestingly enough, it would appear that they were indeed TWO victims assaulted by the same rapist, at the same time and place. Note both reports have the same "Dispatched at" time of 00:33 (ie, 12:33am), as well as the same officers involved in both cases. The MO's differ somewhat: One was "SUSP INSERTED HIS PENIS INSIDE COMP'S BUTTOCKS W/O CONSENT while the other was "SUSP FORCED COMP TO PERFORM ORAL SEX AT GUNPOINT." So we, have what appears to be what I assume is a relatively rare case of double rape...precisely as alleged in Mason Story #3. Also, note that the 2nd MO mentions "gunpoint"...this backs up a detail in Mason Story #3 of a gun being wielded (and possibly mentioned in MS #1 and #2 as well, I can't recall). So, this fact is interesting as well. So, what we have as KNOWN FACTS to report on this case here thus far are that: 1) an alleged double rape was reported to have occured 2) in Dallas 3) on September 20th 4) at 10pm 5) victim 1 had his buttocks penetrated 6) victim 2 was forced to perform oral sex 7) a gun was used victim 1 had $3 stolen (I think this is what the "Property" section refers to?) 9) victim 2 had a bottle of vodka and a sim card stolen (?) and...that's all we know. Period. Note all we DON'T know. We don't know WHO was allegedly attacked. We don't know the address of the alleged attack. You know what guys...we don't even know the SEX of the alleged victims of this attack. The victims' sex is nowhere mentioned in either report. As far as we know, the COMPs here could be two SMU sorority girls. There is nothing here (yet) in the world of KNOWN FACTS to indicate that these reports pertain in any way to Mason Wyler and his boyfriend. I'll update this post as more KNOWN FACTS make themselves known. But right now, that list of 9 facts above is the sum total of all we reliably know. Update: Queerclick is attempting to verify that indeed it was Mason and his b/f, and not two SMU sorority girls involved; if they manage to get a call back from the investigative detective, I will post a further update: Update 2: Mason's faux-tograpahy Kudos to Will for bringing this to my attention. Here's a crop from the same photo, magnified 400%: Heavily pixelated due to the magification regrettably, but still...compare that to THIS: ANALYSIS: 1) Pattern on hospital smock: Same 2) Color of hospital wall: Same 3) Angle of pillow, upper left corner: Same 4) Angle of pillow and edge of bed, upper right corner: Same 5) Crinkles in pillow: Almost totally the same 6) Haircut: Same 7) Left eye: NOT the same!!! CONCLUSION: The Mason "black-eye" rape photo is a fake as to the injury it purports to represent.
