Really A Shameless Party!
While I was away for Spring Break I missed all the juicy shit about this year's GayVN Awards out in San Francisco. Thanks to the sweet boys at The Sword I understand everyone got a live broadcast to watch the whole show streamed live and judging from the over 200 plus comments on the GayVN Awards Report article you guys really put your voices to work. I think Just One Hot Minute scored the most comments for any blog post about the Awards! Kudos to The Sword for the feed and a job well done getting the stream live to all the viewers world-wide who stayed out of the way of this year's most talked about neck slashing event. You could say that the drama started last year when porn producers Raging Stallion released the film that ended up sweeping the night's awards, their glossy controversial porn noir "To The Last Man" walked away with over a dozen awards. When "To The Last Man" was released, it was highly criticized for the graphic violence depicted in the cowboy drama, making it a veritable gay porn Deadwood. It's throat-slashings, hangings, and various murders mixed with sex got it called a "snuff film" while others praised it for high production values and attention to plot -- an unflinching portrayal of murderous characters, just like in Hollywood films -- but with sex. Earlier that day, Michael Lucas had made it his mission to top Brent Corrigan and get Corrigan off the list of presenters. Despite the strange fact that Lucas had negotiated with Corrigan in 2006 to perform in one of his films and recently visited J1HM and took a good look at MJ Taylor's The Big Easy article and was so kind to drop his two cents in the comment board and didn't fuss about Brent Boy then. Although he did say, "see you guys in SF in a couple weeks." At around 4:00 PM Lucas Twittered, "I just had Brent Corrigan kicked out of the GayVN Awards tonight... that criminal brat has put too many in this industry at risk already." But Lucas was unsuccessful, and it was the beginning of a long, angry night.
The onstage explosion he made was just plain grandstanding in my opinion. Michael needs to get his prescription medication changed if he is going to drink all the booze and hang out with that crazy bunch of "pump-him-up queens" he works with. At the after party, stories conflict about the events as they unfolded, but there was some sort of confrontation between Lucas and Corrigan's boyfriend, prompting Lucas after the party to call the SFPD to Corrigan's hotel room not once, but twice. Corrigan's boyfriend ended up in the hallway in cuffs, but no arrest has been reported as of NOW.
Sister Roma dropped the question on Mason Wyler about all that crazy shit he told everyone online about getting raped by an army captain last year. And can you believe after 8 months he still thinks people fell for that bullshit story? Many bloggers accused Mason of fabricating the story for press. Mason may be as much of an attention whore as he is a cock whore, but the people at The Sword never "doubted his story." Click Here to watch the video where he speaks out against the haters.
You'd think that would be enough drama. Margaret Cho's song about Ricky Sinz's, award-winning penis (he won "Best Top.") was enough to make a billy-goat choke. She needs to go do that shit on Logo's lesbian hour time slot. I'll spare you the link to that video.

Great post, as usual. It’s amazing how you could sum up the whole weekend in a half dozen paragraphs and be right on point lol
I was also impressed with the 200+ comments on that post until i realized half of them were completely off-topic (Harlow this, Brent that … blah blah blah bulshit…)
I also totally agree about Margaret Cho and that ridiculous ‘dick song’. Im not gonna even start about Janice. (what was she doing there anyway?)

The Damon/Kent cycle continues. Notice how Damon comments have dropped to zilch. He just sits it out waiting til his detractors tire of it then starts all over again. Luke is the beginning of his next cycle. Then Luke will catch on and the cycle will continue…
Michael lucas thinks he is some sort of Rapper and that this is a east coast west coast thing and the GayVN’s were the gay version of the source awards. As far as this rap oops I mean porn battle royale between the Corrigan camp and the Lucas camp goes I think it really is a joke and the joke is on Lucas.
He is misinformed and he is also going to get his ass handed to him for his hypocrisy. Should be fun to watch that show.
Yeah Mason also spilled the beans on his rape and I think that is what he should have done in the first place. I can understand his wish to protect his boyfriend but the truth is always the better route to go. I know I have learned that and I hope he has as well.

or is it that he was trying to protect his boyfriend? Or maybe the fact that he said he was raped.? He admited that he took the guy home to have sex with him, I get that but if he changed his mind or felt funny about it and said no thank you to the guy but the guy forced him to have sex with him than it was rape.
It really is that simple. do I think what he did in the aftermath was correct no I don’t and I think I have made that perfectly clear. If you don’t think that he was raped than that is fine but just because you don’t does not mean that there are others who think that he was.
I do not appreiciate you making it seem like my opinion is not valid or that I am saying something that needs to be attacked when for the most part I agree with what you are saying that Mason fucked up in the way he handled this.
Whether you believe he was raped or not, I do think that he was forced to have sex with that guy against his will. To me that is rape
Oh Yves, I really did NOT mean to open up this can of worms. It’s been thoroughly beaten to death already, we should leave this dead horse alone. It’s just that you seemed to be saying that he had finally told the truth in this interview, and I just don’t know why you would say that. It’s about the sixth different version of the story he’s told, I’ve lost count, and what he said about the police is laughable. Anyway, my problem isn’t with you, it’s with him, so let’s move on, as you like to say.
