More on Mason
You guys must think that I'm Mason Wyler's biggest fan because I write about him so much. The fact of the matter is that he can't keep himself out of the news, and not for the right reasons. I was doing my daily reading of all the gay porn blogs when I cam across more Wyler drama on http://kruezeratnight.com. He did some investigative journalism on Mason's "rape" case and why no one has come to justice for it in a piece he calls "The Third Degree".
According to Damon and dallasvoice.com, the reason there has been no arrest and no conviction in the case of Mason's "rape" is because Mason has refused to cooperate in the investigation. Dallas Police Department Senior Cpl. Kevin Janse did some digging for the reporters at Dallas Voice and had this to say: "“That case was closed because the complainant is not wanting to participate in the investigation,” Janse said. “Therefore we cannot prove that any of this really occurred. He basically made a report, then decided he didn’t want to talk to the detectives or anything, so they closed it.”
This answers a lot of questions for me. We may never know if what happened to Mason really did happen or if it was a very successful PR stunt. The only person that can answer that is Mason and apparently he's being quiet.

I advise you to actually try being “fair and balanced” and let the chips fall where they may, just as Kameron does, and you may realize more of your gay media ambitions.
Interestingly even some of those telling me they are your own regular posters are writing me privately because they are wondering what your real motivations and goals are. He did indeed post a link to the dallasvoice.com story that I had not seen before, but that is ALL he did. I’m sure DeWayne in SD will back me up on that, given his extensive use of promotional materials that once given to a site for promotional use, cannot be rescinded, especially in the case of a retail video boxcover which is the very definition of a “graphic quotation”. Angel trying to claim otherwise is just so foolish when he should be glad his video is getting the publicity it so desperately needs in a saturated market, especially with MAJOR questions about the true identity of its boxcover star, who may not be Brad Star at all.
2) Regarding SOUTH BEACH DIARIES, and our comments about it in my exclusive first look yesterday, Marc, Jon, Gary and I are enjoying watching the “rough cut” DVD of SOUTH BEACH DIARIES, which was sent us by someone working within ASG Entertainment on their own initiative. The completely finished version is to be retail released later this month. It is common industry practice – as Kam Scott can tell you – for influential opinion leaders to be sent the “rough edit” version of a new movie in advance of the final edit retail release in order to build buzz and anticipation about the movie.
3) A number of sharp-eyed readers who are BRAD STAR fans are telling KRUEZER AT NIGHT that the SOUTH BEACH DIARIES boxcover model is NOT Brad Star.
From one email this morning: “First of all Greg is more built throughout his body. I think this is a digitally altered image and photoshopped with Greg’s famous star tattoos…”

Will G’s feeble attempt at obfuscation and distraction aside, this has become a much larger issue of much larger importance than would portend meeting Will G in my favorite Tribeca restaurant. This must happen at least 7 days in advance, with the 20 questions submitted 1 day in advance. The money will be wired to whatever payment depot or bank account I specify, under my legal name. I’m not sure you understand the meaning of obfuscation because I’m rather sure Will G. responded to you verbatim to your first offering of a meeting between either/or he or Mr. Helms before you changed the rules of the game, once again.
Now, I am pretty sure I stated quite succinctly that you would “have to meet our terms as well”. One would think with your business acuity you would have read and understood that. Like any good businessman knows negations are often bandied back in forth to make sure both parties interests are met. One of your renowned stature I was sure you would have a grasp of such a basic concept.
First, I must say I have known many reporters in both the political and entertainment world and I have yet to meet one who charged to be interviewed. They all stated they felt that it reflected on their credibility and integrity, but you being the trail blazer you are I’m sure you will be leading a new trend.
An affidavit will work for me, however, I have contacted a close friend who happens to be a professor of law and he has been kind of enough to agree to meet with you at a place of your choosing to assist you in filling out in any necessary forms regarding the affidavit. I am sure since you have legal representation and understand the need that I have to protect any monies I am putting towards this historic event. It is just a sound business practice; I am sure you understand.
I also feel 20 questions is a rather low number. If this is to be an interview to air and discuss a number of issues I can’t possibly see how 20 questions will cover it. I know that you tend to be rather verbose in your responses but even taking that into consideration I don’t think it will fill the whole hour. If I am to put up 2000 dollars for the privilege of speaking to you I want to ensure I have a FULL 60 minutes of discussion and not anything less. Also, do the 20 questions allow us to ask follow up questions? Do those need to be approved before the interview as well? I also want to be assured that you will stay on topic. It is only fair that since we won’t be able to deviate from our 20 questions you shouldn’t be able to deviate from answering only the questions we ask. I think that only fair, don’t you?
Furthermore, I agree completely we should air it on both coasts and internationally. I think to mark this occasion we should also consider having it in a venue where we can have an audience as well. I think this could only benefit both sides. We can have a set number of seats and can evenly divide them between you and “us” as to be fair so the audience will not be stacked unfairly in your favor or ours. I know you have many fans that wanted the chance to meet you and I think this would be a wonderful forum.
As for discussing details privately….well, it seems every time one goes privately words can be misconstrued between the parties. I think it would be beneficial to all involved if the negotiations and any subsequent matters were played out in a public forum. This I am also sure will be a way for both of our interests to be protected. Everything out in the open and a way for both sides to openly follow or suggest ideas for this historic occasion. No wonder Kameron Scott is a contributing writer here, he is exceptionally talented and totally gorgeous as well as a smart businessman. Why do you think I was the very first journalist to interview him early this year when he was just starting out in the big leagues – months before DeWayne followed my lead, as he so often does.
Most of all, it’s entertaining to see the “opposition” blogs which by their very existence, add significance to my name and serve to generate large numbers of unique visitors to my site, since many who read them want to see the “other side of the story”. They tell me that all those wild claims and spurious accusations are unbacked by anything approaching factually verifiable evidence, and they are wondering what the real agenda is on the part of those who keep up the clamor.
But I wouldn’t have it any other way. Freedom of speech and the First Amendment are precious things. As long as they are seen to apply to ALL parties not just a small subset of like minded bloggers who seem to be engaged in some type of shared agenda.

I have never thought of ethics and integrity as quaint (or did you mean antiquated?). I know of not one investigative reporter, as you have said you are, who have ever been paid for an interview. In fact, those investigative journalists I have spoken to have said they believe that given the many aspects of their jobs that they often hold themselves to a higher standard simply so their bodies of work are held beyond reproach.
Of course I am more than willing to concede the point if you can give me some names of other investigative reporters who have taken payment for an interview.

I used to date Damon for a while back in Boston in the early 90′s when he was shooting a music video of my band. I can tell you he uses a lot of disinformation and loves to “plant bread crumbs all over the forest to confuse the schemers” as he put it to me. He was very active on the Net way back in 1996 and he’s got a dual Master’s in computer tech and video stuff.

I’m back at my desk after suffering some complications from an aortic aneurysm originally diagnosed a year ago. Given the very high temperatures and humidity lately, and the additional stress of being so heavily involved in the Kocis-Cuadra case, it was time to seek medical care. Fortunately the doctors tell me I’ve made a remarkable recovery and as long as I avoid undue stress, things should be fine. Thanks so much for all your emails and calls!

A TRIBUTE TO KAMERON SCOTT
It was my privilege and pleasure to interview Kameron Scott for probably the last time this past week and it was clear to me then he was distancing himself from the biz. Given his very solid boyfriend – whom he emphasized is NOT in the industry – and his keen desire to utilize his education, what he told me about “the big press release coming from my agent” (Baileey) was plainly in the very near future.
I have held off on publishing everything Kam told me but now, I’ll go ahead. Kameron is an exemplary person, very real and sincere, with a piquant sense of humor. He’s also a first class writer and reporter in his own right. And did I mention I think he’s just gorgeous and appealing in every way? Truly the boy next door you can fall in love with – and I’m so happy someone NOT in the biz saw Kam’s quality and won his heart.
Now onward with publishing what I call KAM’s EXIT INTERVIEW…another industry “last” just as Kam’s original interview with me way back at the beginning of the year was an industry first.

Will-I read several sites that had written about the “rape”. I first saw it on Mason’s blog, and then found other posts on Damon’s, Dewayne’s, Mark Adams’ and Jason’s blogs as well as Gayvn.com
MY opinion on the matter is it was a big PR stunt that work wonderfully. His website hits went up drastically and that, I believe, directly led to him launching his own porn site.
But I did some reading on rape victims, and being one myself, I found that many have a hard time returning to sex after their assault. How he managed to go through those events as he described and then be on set a few weeks later stumps the hell out of me. He must have an incredible ability to block out all emotions and his body would have had to recover remarkably fast from those pictures that he posted.
I agree with Kameron Scott. I will say in conclusion only that Marc and I are enjoying the Verizon FIOS more than we can say, and that Jon completed moving my late mother’s property out of her South Shore apartment today. It is a sad day but she was 97. Thanks to those of you who expressed condolences.

My readers (many of them Mason Wyler fans) are expressing appreciation for the way I “connected the dots”, with Matthew Conaster’s great refinement of detail.
