The Gay Community Is So Mad At Adam Lambert They Want Him To Become Straight

Adam_LambertHundreds of members of the gay community are so upset with Adam Lambert's sexually-charged gay orgy performance on the American Music Awards show that they want him banned from the gay community. And the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation or (GLAAD) has even asked that Lambert renounce his gayness and tell the world that he is not really gay and that he is as straight as Lance Bass, ah make that Justin Timberlake. Garthy Shopington a spokesperson for GLAAD said that Mr. Lambert's bondage carousing, oral sex simulation, male-kissing, and endless crotch grabbing on the Nokia Theater stage was something out of a horrible Rocky Horror Show sequel. He said that it reminded him a lot of a surprise party that Elton John threw for the Who's Pete Townsend several years ago in Liverpool, England. Shopington recalls seeing a big three tiered cake brought in, and a male dressed as a Manchester Red Devil popped out wearing an edible uniform. And within two minutes the uniform was completely gone. Shopington laughed when he said that Liverpool police were called in and they arrested over 16 cake-faced party goers. Noted lesbian performer Melissa Etheridge was asked about Lambert's exotic performance. Etheridge just smiled and replied, "Well at least the flamer did not lip sync like a lot of the other performers that night did." A spinoff group of GLAAD known as GLOCK or Gays and Lesbians Opposed to Constant Kissing stated that Lambert's orgytorial performance set gay marriage back two years. GLOCK spokesperson Bippy Bouquet said that watching Adam's performance scared a lot of gay and lesbian couples who were going to tie the knot. One gay individual Teevee Lagoon-Moon said that he had no idea that gay people acted that way. Lagoon-Moon is a native of Iowa and he says that all him and his boyfriend do is sit out in an Iowa cornfield and touch each others cornhusker. Meanwhile, Courtney Love apparently heard that Adam Lambert may be straight after all and she told Ryan Seacrest to tell him that she wants first crack at him. Lambert apparently remarked that not even if Love offered to buy him a warehouse full of lipsticks, eye-shadow, and black nail polish. story by Abel Rodriguez/The Spoof

ABC's `Good Morning America' Cancels Adam Lambert's Appearance

2009 AMA Awards ShowAdam Lambert's racy American Music Awards performance cost him a gig on "Good Morning America," but he will perform live instead on ABC's morning rivals at CBS. Lambert was to sing Wednesday on "GMA," but the network said Tuesday it was canceling the openly gay singer because "we were concerned about airing a similar concert so early in the morning." While singing his new song, "For Your Entertainment," at the awards program on Sunday, Lambert kissed a male keyboardist, fondled a dancer and had another dancer briefly stuff his face in Lambert's crotch. The performance prompted many complaints to ABC, and the network cut out the brief oral sex simulation for its West Coast broadcasts. "Obviously, I respect their decision — they gotta do what they gotta do," Lambert said Tuesday in an interview with Ryan Seacrest. "It's too bad — I think there were a lot of fans who were excited to come see me. "They probably had a lot of pressure coming at them from certain people who weren't happy about it," he said. ABC News' top management made the decision to cancel Lambert, spokeswoman Cathie Levine said. She said there was no pressure from the parent Walt Disney Co. 2009 AMA Awards ArrivalsWhile women have often crossed the threshold regarding sexually provocative appearances on television — think Madonna kissing Britney Spears — Lambert's performance was perhaps the first time it has been done by an openly gay man. The singer said before Sunday's show that he was hoping to accomplish just that. "There are a lot of double standards as far as that goes," Lambert said backstage, a few days before the awards show. "We've seen female pop and rock performers do that for the last 10 years. They've been very provocative, owning their power and sexuality. You just don't see men doing it very often. And I'm hoping to break down that double standard with this number." ABC said it felt burned because Lambert went further on the air with sexuality than he did in rehearsals — including the kiss. But the man putting his face to Lambert's crotch was included in a rehearsal, according to an Associated Press reporter who attended the rehearsal. It was that sort of unpredictability that bothered ABC, particularly on a morning show with many young viewers watching. Shortly after ABC's cancellation, CBS quickly announced Tuesday that Lambert would appear on "The Early Show" Wednesday morning both to perform and discuss the reaction to Sunday's appearance. Lambert is also appearing on David Letterman's "Late Show" Wednesday, which was scheduled weeks ago. The morning news ratings leader, NBC's "Today" show, did not consider Lambert because it already has a Bon Jovi concert scheduled for Wednesday, said its executive producer, Jim Bell. The "Good Morning America" Web site was flooded with comments from viewers about the Lambert cancellation. Some applauded ABC for taking a stand against vulgarity, while others suggested the network was being homophobic. The glam rocker finished second on "American Idol" this spring. His performances on the reality singing contest were not as provocative, but he was among the show's most colorful competitors with a voice compared to Queen's Freddie Mercury. After the competition, he came out publicly as gay. "For Your Entertainment" is the first single from Lambert's new album, which went on sale Monday. The "Good Morning America" cancellation was first reported on TVNewser and Hollywood Life Web sites.

Adam Lambert: Who's outraged by the OUT cover controversy?

adam_lambertAdam Lambert is featured in this year's "Out 100" list in “Out” Magazine; however there were apparently some miscommunications about how gay Adam Lambert should represent himself. Reportedly Adam Lamberts reps insisted on limiting his questions, as to not make him seem "too gay" and the Editor-In-Chief of “Out” Magazine Aaron Hicklin responded with an open letter to Adam Lambert. The open letter to Adam Lambert contained statements such as, “..Although you narrowly lost to Kris Allen, you were the real winner for those of us who saw your success as a test of America’s growing tolerance. That’s why we’re proud to have you in this year’s Out 100, along with all the other men and women who don’t believe their sexuality should be a barrier to success. It’s unfortunate, therefore, that your record label and management don’t share the same view." ”Getting gay stars like yourself is another matter. Much easier to stick you in Details, where your homosexuality can be neutralized by having you awkwardly grabbing a woman’s breast and saying, “Women are pretty.” So are kittens, Adam, but it doesn’t mean you have to make out with them.” Adam_Lambert_on_cover_of_Out_magazineRead Aaron Hicklin’s full open letter here (caution this letter and the letter following contain profane language) Adam Lambert quickly responded to Hicklin stating in a Twitter response, “Dear Aaron, it's def not that deep. Chill! Guess ya gotta get attention for the magazine. U too are at the mercy of the marketing machine.” “Until we have a meaningful conversation, perhaps you should refrain from projecting your publications' agenda onto my career.”  Adam Lambert also Tweeted a thank-you to 'Planet Fierce' for their swift reaction coming to Lamberts defense. Get A Peek At Adam Lambert's New Album Photo Shoot

adam1 Thursday morning, Adam Lambert tweeted that his eagerly anticipated debut album would be out on November 24. The album — which includes production work from Lady Gaga producer RedOne and Green Day sonic mastermind Rob Cavallo — creates an interesting four-way battle between four former "Idol" contestants, as Carrie Underwood, Kris Allen and Jason Castro will all be putting out records on the same day. Allen of course won this past season's competition, while Underwood has arguably been the most successful "American Idol" victor. And Castro was the laid-back, dreadlocked charmer who shrugged and smirked his way through the show's seventh season. Each album should satisfy a different demographic, but it should be an interesting referendum on which "Idol" has the most staying power. adamlambert2 Adam Lambert might have finished as runner-up on "American Idol" this past season, but the Idols Live tour, which took place Wednesday at a packed Allstate Arena, belonged almost solely to the 27-year-old California native. adamlambert3 Lambert entered the arena to the strains of Led Zeppelin's "Whole Lotta Love," drawing some of the night's loudest cheers as he slithered around his microphone stand like a particularly seductive cobra. Decked out in fingerless black gloves, a knee-length, faux-lizard jacket (complete with shoulder spikes) and tight leather pants, Lambert looked like a cross between David Bowie in "Labyrinth" and a grungy extra from John Carpenter's "Escape From New York." Despite his obvious celebrity, the singer appeared most comfortable portraying the outsider; songs touched on venturing alone into the cosmos ("Starlight," "Life On Mars") and feeling out of place right here on Earth (an eerie "Mad World"). adamlambert4 While Lambert's emergence is a clear boon to the Idol brand—the series hasn't developed a true breakout star since Carrie Underwood—it made for an anticlimactic close to the three-hour event. Sure, Idol champ Kris Allen brought an All-American charm to light-soul takes on Kanye West ("Heartless") and the Killers ("All These Things That I've Done"), but he lacked Lambert's dynamic stage presence and stylistic range.

The rest of the evening was, to put it politely, a mixed bag. Danny Gokey mangled "P.Y.T. (Pretty Young Thing)" and channeled a drunk at a wedding as he attempted an awkward tango on "Maria Maria." CQ Allison Iraheta prowled the stage like a feral cat and howled like a banshee on a trio of mostly-excellent rock songs. Megan Joy, her platinum blonde hair piled into a towering faux-hawk, wouldn't even have impressed the notoriously forgiving Paula Abdul with her off-key warbling. Logistically, the show was much improved from recent years. Idols weren't required to shill for corporate sponsors from the stage (advertisements were instead crammed into the 20-minute intermission/commercial break) and there were no costumed toaster pastries wandering the venue and intermittently firing t-shirt cannons. Now if only producers would do something about those cringe-worthy group numbers. Credits: MTV and Chicago Tribune

Adam admits gay rumors hurt

adamlmainAdam Lambert told Rolling Stone he'd like to have his first album out by the end of the year. What that album will sound like is still anyone's guess, however. He says it'll be a solo album, and not a Broadway album.
When Rolling Stone asked him about whether the speculation surrounding his sexual orientation, including basically being outed by Entertainment Weekly the week before the finals might have made a difference in the final vote, Lambert laughed and said “Probably.”
Lambert has never said one way or the other what his sexual orientation might be, but you still have to wonder how much it might have affected the final vote. During the year, his talent overwhelmed the judges and voters, but during the final two weeks of American Idol you get a lot more casual viewers tuning in for the big announcement. The way I saw it based on the previous votes, Adam could have beaten Kris or Danny. However, when he went to the final three against both of them, his fate was sealed. Supporters of Kris or Danny had already spent the last month talking about how their Idol favorite was better than Adam. Once Danny was out, it was a natural progression for his voters to embrace Kris. I'm not sure that I could blame his loss solely on the question of "Is America ready for a gay Idol?" First Gay American Idol?

adamlambertAdam Lambert wears eyeliner and diamond stud earrings, sings like a dream and has won a rare standing ovation from tough-minded judge Simon Cowell. With three weeks to go before the "American Idol" final, Lambert, 27, is favored to win the No. 1 U.S. television talent show and become, possibly, the first gay or bisexual singer to be handed the "Idol" title by millions of Americans. Lambert, praised by "Idol" judges for taking risks with songs like Cher's "Believe", has never publicly confirmed his sexual preference, nor has he denied speculation about being gay -- a striking contrast to 2003 runner-up Clay Aiken. When photos showing him kissing other men and dressed in drag circulated on the Internet last month, Lambert said simply: "I have nothing to hide. I am who I am." Lambert ended in the bottom two for the first time Wednesday night, but viewers have so far shown little sign of caring about his ambiguous sexual orientation. An army of "Glambert" fans cheer him on, vote for him weekly and have made him the favorite to win. Gender-bender stars are nothing new in the music business -- Elton John, Prince and the androgynous Boy George. Ellen DeGeneres and Rosie O'Donnell are openly lesbian, and while TV stars like Neil Patrick Harris have come out as homosexual, Hollywood awaits its first huge gay male star. "American Idol" may just give it to U.S. music fans. The show has become a cultural phenomenon in the United States in the last eight years and is as much a popularity contest as a talent show. The audience that averages 26.3 million viewers weekly has shown an openness to embrace everyone from 8 to 80 years old -- and it's the viewers who vote to decide who wins. Aiken, the 2003 runner-up, dodged questions about his homosexuality for five years before publicly acknowledging in 2008 that he was gay. Lambert, who donned a white silk suit and diamond ear studs for the show this week, is more flamboyant in his dress, vocal style and performances than most -- if not all -- contestants.

FINALLY!!!!

kameronmainI was going to write this in my regular blog, but I decided to share this with all of you. So, I see tons of cute boys all the time when I'm at a bar or just walking around town here in Nashville. I always turn to my husband Riley and say "Can I fuck him?" to which he promptly and sternly replies "NO!". We've been sexual only with each other in the last six months, and apparently we're going to be staying that way. Or are we? We were watching the first American Idol finals show on Tivo (running a cam studio can get very busy) when Adam Lambert preformed. After he was done and I picked up my jaw from the awesome job he did, I turned to Riley again and asked, "Can I fuck him?". He looked up at me, and without missing a beat said "Sure, but only after I'm done with him. I don't like his look but is voice makes him fuckable". Need less to say...we're on our way to the airport right now to be at the next showing of Idol with Trojan condoms in tow. Don't worry...we packed the video camera :-)

Lambert's Gay Pics

adamlambert1Last week the Gay Sociallites website  (see for more pics) asked if American Idol hopeful Adam Lambert was gay, and while they stuck to their story pictures have came out that prove them right. Adam Lambert is seen in the photos kissing his boyfriend. As you can see in this image it looks like Adam is dressed in some sort of diva-emo garb. Adam Lambart’s hopes of winning American Idol are over now that pics have started circulated on the web of him sucking a dude’s tongue and wearing a dress. In any event its clear Adam Lambert is hot.
