New Club Heats Up Nashville's Gay Scene (Strippers Wanted)

alexYoungbloodA 3-by-6 foot painting of a nude woman hangs in the office of the old Ken's Gold Club. But that's the only naked female flesh that remains in the strip club.  Now called Arrow Nashville, the spot at 5th Avenue and Peabody is Tennessee's only destination to see male strippers bare it all, and the bar's co-owner and manager Cole Wakefield expects to draw male and female patrons from across Tennessee and its neighboring states.
"There's nothing to compare Arrow to except a bar that's four hours away and has different rules," Wakefield said. "We're offering something unique to people in a wide area surrounding Nashville and Tennessee."
A $10 or $20 cover, depending on the time of arrival, gets guests in the door where they can watch a variety of men dance on stage and spin around a pole in various stages of undress. Like other sexually oriented businesses, Arrow is not permitted to sell liquor, but guests are allowed to bring in their own alcohol and purchase mixers at the bar. Wakefield said Arrow will offer access to a V.I.P. area later this month. The cost of the exclusive area has not been set, but it will offer free mixers and a cozier atmosphere to watch dancers - but patrons shouldn't expect to bend any rules in the more private area of the club.
"We're working to take the sleaze element sometimes associated with strip clubs out of it," Wakefield said. "This is a lounge where people happen to be stripping. The rules are the rules, and we're going to follow them."
dancebarWakefied and the bar's other owners acquired the building from the owner of Ken's Gold Club in July and quickly went to work to make necessary renovations to the space. Those include updating a barrier to keep patrons three feet away from the stage, replacing a gold pole with a chrome one, redecorating the showroom and V.I.P. area and updating the bathrooms. Arrow inherited many of Ken's "1850's Southern parlor-esque" fixtures including chandeliers, chairs and ornately framed mirrors, all of which have been repurposed. But, Wakefield said that's all he hopes to inherit from his predecessor.  Ken's owners and some dancers had been slapped with several fines for violating strict skin-industry rules set by Metro Council and enforced by the Sexually Oriented Business (SOB) board.

Last September, Ken's became the first adult business in Nashville to have it's operating license revoked by the SOB board. The board cited 28 violations of the SOB code, including “grinding lap dances” and “strippers fondling their genitalia on stage,” according to Metro police spokesman Don Aaron. The same rules apply for male and female strippers. Patrons are not allowed to touch or come within three feet of a naked dancer - tips must be dropped at their feet. "Grinding" lap dances are not permitted. There must be seating for at least 10 people in all private or V.I.P. rooms, and the list goes on. But, Wakefield said the rules don't necessarily spoil the fun.  For example, "hovering" lap dances are allowed as long as the dancers aren't completely nude and they don't gyrate on patrons. And, dancers are allowed to perform to less than ten people in V.I.P. areas as long as there is seating enough for ten. Wakefield said the 3-foot rule might take away some of what people expect from a strip club, but it also may enhance the experience in other ways.
"One of our dancers likes to pull open his underwear and encourage the audience to shoot their dollars into his drawers," Wakefield said. "While you might not get to touch the dancers on stage they can still come out and say hello after their strip tease. The sensuality and sexuality is still there."
Wakefield said nearly 600 people attended the bar's soft opening in mid-August. From there, the staff focused on working out kinks in preparation for their grand opening on Labor Day Weekend.   arrow-nashvilleArrow's staff is focused on making constant improvements to keep satisfied customers like McQuiston coming back for more. Wakefield plans to bring a stage manager onto Arrow's roster to train the dancers in special techniques, choreograph special group routines and manage the club's costume inventory.
"Many of our dancers are first timers," Wakefield said. "We're going to train them all on the pole and give them all the techniques they need to wow the audience."
He said there are 21 fully-licensed dancers on staff who are evenly dispersed along the sexuality spectrum from straight to open-minded to gay. With gay men and straight women in the audience at the same time, the sexual ambiguity of the dancers works, Wakefield said.
"Everybody gets what it is," Wakefield said. "The dancers are here to entertain. Nobody's coming here to meet their husband, so the sexuality of the dancers isn't important."
Early crowd favorites include Alex, a veteran dancer who is accustomed to performing at bachelorette parties. Antonio, one of the youngest dancers, is favored for his crisp dance moves and lively costumes. Silent J. lures in spectators with his mysterious demeanor, curly dark hair, beard and big blue eyes and Soldja Boy, a former soldier, is an easy sell with a tall, lean build, blond hair and army fatigues. Wakefield said customers can expect special discounts and promotions to be a regular feature of the bar in the future as well as new stage props which might include a rope and nets. So far, he has seen a 60/40 ratio of male to female patrons at the bar and hopes to maintain an even-keeled following.
"So far we've been marketing mostly toward the gay community," Wakefield said. "It'll be interesting to see how things shake down as we broaden that effort."

NY Gay-Bar Mafioso Released from Prison

Trash ProbeAn underworld figure with ties to New York gay night spots has been released from prison after serving two years on racketeering charges. Matty "Horse" Ianniello--the nickname comes either from his having once been charged for possession of over twenty pounds of heroin, or due to his imposing physical build; accounts vary--finished a jail term last spring, reported the Web site Bitter Queen. Of Ianniello, 89, the story noted, "one queries whether the... reputed Genovese capo ever intends on retiring." The article noted that Ianniello had been said to have some stake in "dozens of gay bars and discos" in New York over three decades, "including the hustler bar Haymarket, the tranny bar Gilded Grape, and the circus-like disco GG Barnum’s Room. "Indeed, no man had more of an instrumental role in gay nightlife in New York City than Ianniello, and although straight he probably should receive an honorary plaque recognizing his achievements from the city’s Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce," the article quipped. Wikipedia article, the Stonewall Inn, the site of the watershed Stonewall Riots forty years ago. The Wikipedia article noted that the Stonewall Inn "catered to an assortment of patrons, but it was known to be popular with the poorest and most marginalized people in the gay community: drag queens, and representatives of a newly self-aware transgender community, effeminate young men, hustlers, and homeless youth."
On Release From Prison

On Release From Prison

The article excerpted content referencing Ianniello and a bar called the Ha Market from R. Thomas Collins Jr.’s book NewsWalker. The excerpt read, in part, "In 1960 [Ianniello] formed a partnership with one of the [so-called] Sultans [of New York’s mid-town], Edward L. DeCurtis, a k a ’Eddie Dee,’ financier of afterhours gay joints in the Village. "Such after-hours spots were a specialty of the rackets because their patrons were homosexuals who drank like fish," the excerpt continued. "You could serve liquor in private clubs without a license, and nobody watched the cash. Besides, such customers sometimes were involved in legitimate business one might wish to ’invest’ in." A separate Bitter Queen article on the history of New York’s gay clubs posted Dec. 23, 2007, excerpted another publication, an Aug. 1, 1977 story titled, "Crime Group Leader Said to Rule Many Bar Businesses in Midtown," written by Selwyn Raab and Nathaniel Sheppard Jr. That excerpt also mentioned Ianniello. Read the article excerpt, in part, "A confidential 1975 report prepared by intelligence officers in the Police Department’s Organized Crime Control Bureau found that Mr. Ianniello’s primary source of income at the time appeared to have been derived from a string of more than 80 New York bars and restaurants, many of which, the report said, were ’connected with prostitution, narcotics and homosexuals.’" The article quoted an unnamed police detective who specialized in organized crime. Said the detective, "If you want to open a bar and grill or sex establishment in midtown Manhattan but don’t have the cash or have some other problem, you go see Matty Ianniello." Added the detective, "You don’t run a bar and grill or sex establishment between 34th and 59th Streets from Fifth Avenue to the Hudson River without Matty having a piece of the action." Indeed, the Mafia had a stake in many gay establishments, including, it is reported at a Story Via Edge News Wire

How To Be A Lover, PornStar & Jet-Set Fabulous

mjjasonmain
Wow I don’t even know where to begin… My life has changed tremendously. So we all know that I’ve moved to Vegas, big deal. I’ve pretty much only slept there like maybe 2 weeks. I’ve been on the go non-stop since I flew to San Francisco for the GayVN’s which was hella fun. Janice Dickinson was standing like 10 feet away from me throughout the night of the awards, and every time they would say ‘and the nominee is,’ she would yell “Margaret Cho.” It was hilarious! Anyway the best part of SF was when I ended up at a club, and ran into a group of some of my favorite people and as I was making my rounds of giving hugs and catching up with people, I caught someone out of the corner of my eye… Jason Pitt!
funnybath
We had spoken frequently over the phone prior to the award show, but it had been a while since we had touched base. I could not wait to talk to him. We got acquainted and danced. We were all staying at the Weston, so we all rode together to get back and on the ride there, Jason grabbed my hand and from that point… It was on! We were inseparable the whole weekend, even so much that I missed my flight back to vegas, intentionally but not intentionally. It was such an exhilarating feeling chasing after him in the airport to tell him that I was staying! We spent 2 more days in SF and then he flew back to Atlanta and I went to San Diego, and then I flew to Vegas to catch a flight to Toronto, Canada. I was in Canada for 11 hours total. I did an XXX show at a club called Goodhandy’s. Then I flew back to Vegas to film with Falcon, “Jocks X: Roadtrip to Vegas.” I literally left set of that movie and went straight to the airport where I hopped on the first flight to Atlanta.
park
I got to Atlanta at 4 in the morning, and Jason was there waiting for me at the top of the escalator at baggage claim. As soon as I seen him all of the madness just melted away. I completely forgot that I had just filmed my first Falcon movie. We spent TONS of time getting to know each other more and bonding on catastrophic levels. He took me on a tour of Gay Atlanta and we got soooo many compliments on how cute we are together and all of his friends thought so too. We took a road trip to south Georgia so I could meet his mother and brother and they were surprisingly very welcoming. Afterwards, we camped at a little hideout and confessed our love. The next morning, we woke up and decided to begin our lives spontaneously, first with matching tattoos, then an adventure to the airport, flipped a coin, and ended up in San Diego!
We have been here for the last week getting much needed tanning and relaxation. We are more than likely going to chill out here for a few more days. We are going to hit LA and then go to my house in Vegas. Jason has a movie to film so he’ll go do that and then we are meeting up down in Texas to do our first event together. Turns out rent boy saw us holding hands in SF and thinks that we're Hott. So we are going to Houston, Austin, and Dallas and then we are probably going to go down to Florida.
[MEDIA not found]

I am completely in Love and happy and I have some very cool stuff coming up and so does Jason. He is making a few changes that he may make enemies or friends over, who knows. either way, I will be there by his side every step. So in a nutshell, that the Update!!!

clubdean

Online gay porn connoisseurs will no doubt recall it was only a few years ago that DEAN COXX and ROCKY, the two most popular models of Straight College Men, had never so much as touched another guy sexually! A series of online videos featuring the boys going a little further each time teased fans so much that it sent the two performers' online popularity skyrocketing overnight -- and when DEAN COXX himself decided to launch his own site, ClubDean.com, where he exclusively performed hardcore sex scenes with men for the first time, it made him a full-fledged Internet phenomenon!   Now, DEAN COXX has brought his old buddy, ROCKY, from his Straight College Men days, into the ClubDean.com fold where they go hardcore together for the first time. Screaming and fist pounding their way through a scorching scene where DEAN and ROCKY both top and bottom, at long last give their fans what they've been waiting several years to see. ...And it can only BE seen at Club Dean! [Gallery not found]
"After I started doing hardcore sex scenes, this was the one I got the most requests for," says DEAN. "People have loved watching us together for years so I knew to make my fan base happy, I had to do whatever it takes to convince ROCKY to do this with me. The result though is just so much hotter than I even expected. I think every fan of ours will agree it's been well worth the wait."

Since splitting from Straight College Men, DEAN COXX has taken the reigns of control over his own career, launching the award-winning ClubDean.com as the only place fans can see him performing hardcore sex scenes online, a site that has won the Hookie Award for "Best Escort Site" and has also been nominated for the Cybersocket Web Awards. Crossing over into mainstream popularity this year, DEAN COXX recently appeared on one of the highest-rated episodes of "The Tyra Banks Show."

Dead Body Outside A Gay Bar

imagedevereux_smFayetteville, NC Police confirmed on Tuesday afternoon the identity of a homicide victim found near a local gay and lesbian bar. According to the Fayetteville Police Department, officers found drag performer Jimmy Ali McCollough (Imaje Devera), 34, shortly after midnight on April 14 in front of 119 Joseph St. The body was found near Club Emages, formerly Club Spektrum. Police are not releasing any more information at the time, including how the victim died, citing the sensitive nature of the case. Club Emages owner Dy’Mond Cartier told Raleigh news station WRAL that police said McCollough had been stabbed and that the case was being investigated as a hate crime. The club was not open on Monday evening, so it is not immediately clear why McCollough was in the area. However, sources have told Q-Notes that he was involved in prostitution as a way to support himself. In many instances, transgender and other gender-variant individuals are forced to engage in prostitution as a livelihood, due to high rates of anti-gay and anti-transgender employment discrimination. The Joseph St. and Bragg Blvd. areas are known to have a high crime rate. Since the end of March, the Joseph St. area has witnessed an arrest for prostitution, an armed robbery and an aggravated assault wherein the victim was shot. The identification of the victim was accompanied by a photograph taken after a prior arrest. No details regarding a prior arrest were immediately available.

Kurt Wild Parts Ways

bloggiesLooks like something has happened with Angel's Slut Garden and Kurt Wild's recent deal to get together and make a video and make personal appearances. Gorgeous Kurt Wild left this post this evening on his Yahoo Group.
I am saddened to inform everyone that I am parted from ASG Entertainment as of today and will not be attending their hosted tours. Many of my fans are probably going to be very bothered and upset by my decision as an individual but that is a risk that I must take and I am sorry if anyone gets hurt over this situation. Many will blog and talk badly about me trying to call me names and gossip that I am not dependable. But that is not the case for my work and fan connection. I'll probably never be hired for a club event in a few states and I am saddened by having to make this decision. However, the decision at hand is for the best of my company and for all of you as my fans. That is the basis of my decision. I am always available to sign photos and items, and I am currently doing all that I can to work more and entertain my beloved fans. Today I could find nothing more to do than be upset with myself and work on my blog. Thanks for reading.
I will soon be adding all of my work histroy including many free clips of my own as of now. Tomorrow will be my kickoff to true adult blogging and creation of my site. I will explain everything in more detail in a few days. I am no longer working with Angel and Brad the Angel Slut Garden for my own reasons and for the best of everyone I care about including all of you. I still support them and wish them the best, with al of my heart. The decision is for the best and I ask all of you to trust me in what I do from this point on. I trust in you.

A Look Back At The Gay Nightlife

The Lost World

In honor of gay history month, we look back at the bars and clubs of nightlife past.

There is nothing more tired than saying, “New York nightlife is over. It was so much better back in the day.” Whatevs. Though we may not have been born when some of these places were jumping, it’s good to know there have always been gay bars here and always will be. So join us for a tour of the favorite haunts of our gay forefathers (including some, like the Roxy, where we all shook our asses) and see the legacy they left behind. _______________________________________________________________________________________ The Slide 157 Bleecker St (btwn Thompson/Sullivan) In a basement in the heart of Greenwich Village, pansies (effeminate men) could be seen saddling up to the more butch Italian “trade” that earned this former brothel-turned-bar—one of the first documented gay bars in the city—the title “Wickedest Place in New York” in the 1890s. What’s there today: Kenny’s Castaways—an NYU dive popular since the late ’60s that once saw the New York Dolls take the stage. Also in the neighborhood: “Homosexualists” Merce Cunningham, Allen Ginsberg and Gore Vidal, among others, frequented the bohemian Mecca San Remo Café (93 MacDougal St). Legacy: The Cock (29 Second Ave) still offers notorious and scandalized cruising. _______________________________________________________________________________________ Club 181 181 Second Ave (@ 12th St) One of the most famous “fag joints” of the ’40s, this elegant club helped popularize male and female vaudeville drag “floor shows,” which had become a sensation all over town. Its Mafia ownership kept the homosexuals safe after being tossed back on the street following the repeal of Prohibition and the end to communal discontent. What’s there today: Village East Cinema Also in the neighborhood: If you wanted to make it big in drag you had to perform at Club 82 (82 E Fourth St) which took over for 181 when it was shuttered in 1952, and was known to attract a fun-seeking celebrity or two. The club eventually housed the gay sex club the Bijou Theater. Legacy: Drag dinner shows are now the fancy of bachelorette parties at Lucky Cheng’s (24 First Ave) and Lips (2 Bank St). _______________________________________________________________________________________ The Stonewall Inn 53 Christopher St (btwn Seventh Ave So/Waverly Pl) When it opened in 1967, this former stable house was the largest gay establishment in the city, known for its dancing, racial diversity and “bleached-out skinny faggots wiggling their much-used asses,” according to the 1968 Homosexual Handbook. In late June 1969, a riot against the police following a raid opened the floodgates to the gay civil rights movement. What’s there today: The newly renovated gay-owned Stonewall Inn. Also in the neighborhood: Julius (159 W 10th St), which still serves the same juicy burgers it did in the ’60s, and held the famous pre-Stonewall “sip in” by the Mattachine Society to draw attention to city-wide homosexual discrimination. Legacy: After stints as a shoe store and bagel shop, a renovated Stonewall Inn opened in 2007 where the original stood. Julius is still operating as usual and neighborhood hangouts like The Monster (80 Grove St) retain the community pride and friendliness of the ’60s underground culture. _______________________________________________________________________________________ Gay Activists Alliance Firehouse 99 Wooster St (btwn Spring/Prince) Born in the activist-centered wake of the Stonewall riots and in a push to end gay nightlife’s dependency on the Mafia, the GAA’s headquarters in this old SoHo firehouse held fundraising dances that were some of the first gay-owned and operated parties in the city until the building was destroyed by arson in 1974. What’s there today: Peter Blum Art Gallery Also in the neighborhood: the post-Stonewall Gay Liberation Front regularly held gay-run dances as well, and gay men sought each other’s company in privately owned bathhouses like The Continental Baths (230 W 74th St), where legends like Bette Midler famously first began their singing careers. Legacy: The LGBT Community Center (208 W 13th St), which celebrates its 25th Anniversary this year, continues to throw bi-monthly fundraising dances called Dance:208. _______________________________________________________________________________________ Mineshaft 835 Washington St (@ Little W 12th St) New York’s notorious S&M club Mineshaft was the epicenter of gay fetishism and gave rise to the leather community in the pre-AIDS era of the late ’70s and early ’80s. The club was the first to be closed in 1985 after the city enacted new laws to curb the spread of HIV/AIDS. What’s there today: Highline Thai Restaurant & Bar Also in the neighborhood: The dangerous industrial streets of the old Meatpacking District became the birthplace of the “alternative” members-only scene in the late ’70s and ’80s with bars like Ramrod (394 West St), Tool Box (507 West St), International Stud (117 Perry St) and Exile (491 West St), in addition to “The Trucks”—abandoned semi-trailers used for public sex. Legacy: While the neighborhood has traded the tyrannies for the trendies, The Eagle (554 W 28th St), descended from a ’30s longshoreman’s pub on 11th and 21st, retains fetishized fun just slightly further uptown. _______________________________________________________________________________________ G.G. Barnum’s Room 128 W 45th St (btwn Sixth/Seventh Aves) Housed in the same space as The Peppermint Lounge, the ’60s club that popularized the dance phenomenon “the Twist” and attracted acts like the Beatles, this was the gay answer to the over-the-top antics of its legendary neighbor Studio 54. G.G.’s featured go-go boys on trapezes high above a roller disco dance floor populated nightly with drag queens and young gay men. What’s there today: The Night Hotel Also in the neighborhood: Obviously, nightlife of the time was led by Steve Rubell and Ian Schrager’s Studio 54 (254 W 54th St) where gay antics were integrated into mainstream style. Bathhouses like The Barracks (227 W 42nd St), gay theaters like Adonis Theater (839 Eighth Ave) and strip clubs like The Gaiety Theater (201 West 46th St) also populated the seedy and heavily gay area around Times Square. Legacy: The freaks behind mr. Black (27 W 24th St), while short of trapezes, know how to draw a crowd with go-go antics and plenty of disco flare while the Disney-fication of Times Square has created the professional clean and sophisticated gayborhood of Hell’s Kitchen. _______________________________________________________________________________________ Limelight 47 W 20th St (@ Sixth Ave) Peter Gatien turned an abandoned church on Sixth Ave into a nightlife destination. While not a gay club, the late-’80s/early-’90s industrial techno scene and its world attracted party promoter Michael Alig and his crowd of Club Kids like Richie Rich, Kenny Kenny, Amanda Lepore and Sophia Lamar, who pushed the boundaries of sexuality by promoting a new arrogant and flamboyant gay image to the masses. What’s there today: Avalon Nightclub (currently closed) Also in the neighborhood: The post-disco ’80s begot the House-crazed ’90s and in the midst of it all, several clubs mixed sexual preferences, fashion and music at oversized venues like Twilo (530 W 27th St), Tunnel (269 11th Ave), and Palladium (126 E 14th St). Legacy: Many of the famous DJs of the time—including Junior Vasquez and Danny Tenaglia—still play at the last of the dance-oriented clubs left including Cielo (18 Little W 12th St) and Pacha (618 W 46th St). _______________________________________________________________________________________ The Roxy 515 W 18th St (btwn 10th Ave/West St) In the early ’90s John Blair latched on to the growing “Chelsea Boy” phenomenon and revamped the drag crowd of Chip Duckett, Larry Tee and Suzanne Bartsch’s popular gay Saturday night into a House music and shirtless dancing cornerstone of mid-to-late ’90s gay nightlife up until its shuttering in March of 2007. What’s there today: Planned luxury condos Also in the neighborhood: The muscled gay male in the post-AIDS era dominated the New York landscape in a collection of new, more sophisticated and expensive Chelsea establishments like Blair’s chic XL Lounge (357 W 16th St) and the more masculine styled Champs (17 W 19th). Legacy: Chelsea still serves as an epicenter for gay nightlife with the continued popularity of Barracuda (275 W 22nd St), g Lounge (225 W 19th St) and Splash (50 W 17th St) (where John Blair has set up shop) even as they revamp their image and the neighborhood diversifies. _______________________________________________________________________________________

Where is the Top Gay Bar In America ?

The LGBT community has a lot of issues to grapple with these days. The recent victories of gay marriage in California, its validity in other states, and there’s a vital urgency to elect a progressive, LGBT-supportive President this November. Gay adoption, immigration issues, AIDS and HIV concerns and hate crimes loom large for us. But this story isn’t about any of those. It’s about where you should end up come closing time on a Tuesday night, with that last drink (that you really didn’t need) in your hand, talking to that slurry hottie you shouldn’t really be talking to. Where you choose to do such things as these is very important. To assist you, here’s a list of the best gay bars in America. And full disclosure: By “best” I don’t mean shiniest, cleanest, most-representative of all of gay folks, where the clientele are pretty and the staff professional. Nope. When I think of the “Best Gay Bars,” I think of places where anything can happen, where raucous theme nights are the norm, where the locals are crazy and possibly hot, and where fun, unpredictable, bad behavior abounds. So I sent out emails to a lusty batch of travel writers, hard-partying friends and media folks from around the country, asking them... “What are the best gay bars in the U.S.???”  With the help of LogoOnline.com here we go ... and check back each day for # 2 - 3 - 4 etc ...  Perhaps your very own watering hole will be named.

The Best Gay Bars in America are...

1. Mary's - Atlanta, Georgia 1287 Glenwood Avenue; Atlanta, GA; tel. 404-624-4411 http://www.marysatlanta.com; http://www.myspace.com/marysbar Mary's, the colorful kitschy East Atlanta watering hole, got the most nods from our contributors. Cator Sparks, the Southern-raised gentleman who contributes to the NY Times and works in fashion PR praised the sassy spot for three reasons: "First, a midget hosts 'Karaoke Saturdays.' Second, they have underwear twister nights. And third, the stuffed deer head on the wall sings along to karaoke." Point well taken. Travel writer Jimmy Im, chimed in: "Mary's is unpretentious, has a great diverse crowd, and the clientele (and the staff) is a little wacky. Basically, it's really just always super fun!" To find out more, I quizzed owner Mike Dover about the bar, its crowd, and why it rocks: "We want to be your crazy neighbors down the street who never give up the opportunity for a theme party. We want to be the place you just go because you know all your friends are going to be there, but that you are still are not quite sure what to expect. We want to be in business forever, but if we aren't, we want to be the place that people still talk about 20 years later to make the next generation of gay kids jealous."
What's the ethos behind Mary's? If you guys had a mission statement with this bar, what would it be?
    • In a couple of sentences, tell me what went down on the wildest night you can remember?
Why do you think Atlanta is a great city for a bar like Mary's?
  • Gee... This is like Sophie's Choice! So many of our regulars are so good at cookin' up a good time we could never pick just one! Let's just say snow bunnies, fortune tellers, a makeshift jail, and twister have all crossed paths in one night. Atlanta's a growing city with relatively low cost of living and people are movng here from all over the country. Throw that into the mix with the inherent crazy and eccentric characters that the South is known to breed and you've got a hell of a melting pot. Mary's is something of a home base for both natives and new arrivals to the city. When a new person comes to the bar, they add something to it, and keeps it fresh and interesting. All the ne'er do wells need a place to drink, after all.

“We are thrilled to be hosting so many events at such great venues on both coasts to celebrate pride.” Said Kyle Majors, “it’s a reflection of how far we’ve come in a short period of time. It’s also a chance to connect one on one with the fans, and return some of the hospitality and support that our members have shown to us in our first ten months.”

CockyBoys.com invites everyone to come enjoy Cockyboys hospitality in our hometown of Los Angeles, or at our favorite vacation spot Orlando, Florida.  Come out, meet your favorite guys, and have a blast.

“Our guys are modeling sex for people but they are also embodying the attitude of strength and pride, or “cockiness” that too many guys don’t have. Our guys show others how to be comfortable with themselves, whether it be one of our gay or straight stars.” Said Majors.

There is no bigger or better events on either coasts to celebrate Gay Pride weekend.  Come down and be proud with a bunch of cocky studs.
