Filming The Big Easy - On Location With MJ Taylor

bigeasymainAs soon as I walked out of the Louis Armstrong Airport, filming began. Brent Corrigan was really trying to capture the real sense of reality. I was greeted by Brent and Grant Roy and two hot-ass San Diego boys - Jeremy Lange and Jake Green along with the camera guys as well as the stylist. We all got acquainted while we waited for the cars to arrive. We showed up to the big, yellow house which was like a diamond in the rough, a six bedroom plus house. It was awesome. Two other boys met us there: Ryan Buckley (flying in from Boston) and Aiden Tyler (who chugged in on a train from Mississippi). Another guy flew in too, DJ, he was like our house mother, and hot as Fuck. But I think he was tied up in contracts with other companies so he was off limits, but really helped out with the crew and is also an amazing cook. He cooked every meal, breakfast, lunch, dinner, whatever. He was always looking out for us and taking care of us. If we would go out, he would hold our money and ID's if we were stripping down. I'm really glad he was there. First day in the house we  picked out our rooms - me and hottie Jeremy settled in the same one then we all just hung out, got unpacked, and got comfortable. Brent laid down some of the rules for everybody, I can't really remember them all but they were pretty basic we had to keep the place clean. No drugs and No getting wasted the night before a scene; No fucking the night before your scene; No barebacking- it was pretty easy to stick to the rules. I remember my first night there, I thought Jeremy was one of those Gay for Pay boys but as we laid in bed talking for an hour and a half, all of a sudden I felt his hard dick brush across my knee no doubt - that was my initiative to kick things into action (stick it in). He rode my cock like a bull rider. It was definitely a sign of  a good start to an awesome fucking movie.

The next day I woke up with a camera in my face. There was a lot of work to be done in only seven days not to mention it was the week of Halloween and Brent had some parties for us to attend. Every boy had to do two, personal photo shoots, one in wardrobe around the city and then another one for nudes and then all  the shoots we had to do together in the city and shoot the cover plus all the shoots you have to do that go along with your scenes. Some days I had a lot of work to do but then the other few days I was free to roam the city with some of the other boys who were free. It was hella fun I remember the first bar we walked into on Burbon St.  where they pulled Jeremy on stage to strip for the girls. There were a lot of fun times out and about. Some of the most fun was at the house I really feel like I made some awesome friends. I remember a lot of singing and goofing off. Brent arranged a Truth or Dare scene where there were a lot of sexual, crazy ideas that we all threw into a hat to be picked at random to act out. We did a lot of stuff in this movie. I remember a camera filming someone or something pretty much the whole time. Brent's a great director. He doesn't give a fuck if you're shitting in the bathroom he's sending the cameras in. I'm glad my first movie was reality because we really got to have fun with it and do our own things.

The first night out on the town, we all entered a stripping contest at Voodoo. When it was my turn to strip, the damn hot mess dragqueen announced me as Jay Taylor, and I replied "It's MJ Bitch" and she said "Excuse me, MJ Bitch Taylor." But anyway, DJ got first place and Ryan got second. We all went up there as a team so as long as we won I was happy. DJ even split the winnings with us which went right back to the bar for drinks. We went to a few events, one of them was a huge courtyard on one side of a brick wall, and the other side had a pool. Everyone was really scattered around but as soon as our boys dropped their trousers and hopped in, everyone swarmed to the pool. I unfortunately was not swimming. I love swimming, and this is really gay, super gay, but I couldn't get my hair wet because I had a scene that day and at the time, without my straightner, I had a fro. My hair was almost to my shoulders and I really wanted to cut it all off before the movie, but I've had some bad experiences with haircuts and didn't want to risk it. I'm glad to say now that the hair is fucking gone. Amen. My favorite event was the Silver Streak costume rave. They had tons of amazing performers and the most amazing Halloween costumes that I had ever seen in my life. I don't know how to even describe what we were dressed up as. We all wore these shiny silver shorts and silver spray painted converse along with silver helmets and silver bow and arrows. We definitely got attention while walking on our way to the party. Pretty much everyone in the city that night was dressed up so it wasn't too embarassing.

costume1 Aiden Tyler-Jake Green -Jeremy Lange-Johnny Rocket-Unknown Female-MJ Taylor-Ryan Buckley We drove there in two separate cars and me and a few boys were standing outside of the building waiting for the rest of the crew to show up. Guess who pulls up right in front of me and gets out of a Jeep? I couldn't believe my eyes and thought they were playing tricks, I tapped Jeremy on the shoulder "Dude, is that Stifler's Mom from American Pie?" So we all formed together to contemplate whether or not it was actually her. She got of the Jeep in her big black fur coat leaving us all starstruck for a moment. As she walks into the party, we yelled "It makes me want a Hot Dog Real Bad!" She turned around and gave us a big smile and waved which confirmed it. The crew arrived and we went into the party. I had been to some raves already but this one was different. With all the costumes it was glamorous, unique, inventive and lavish. Truly, a new experience. We all split up and partied on and towards the end of the party we all somehow found eachother. We ran into Jennifer Coolidge and she danced with us and took some pics. Tell you the truth, after that I don't remember a thing. Apparently I went to Voodoo with the rest of the boys. I don't really remember drinking that much, but then again, I was caught up in the moment.

The next event was at the House of Blues where I saw some of the same performances I saw the night before. But this time the treat was Leslie Jordan's comedy skit where me and the boys sat front row. I was fully dressed in a tux and literally rolling on the floor laughing. After the show I got in line for his book signing, "My Life Down the Pink Carpet" where I kept pushing myself to the end of the line so I could chat with him longer. I got a book signed for me and one for Brent and took some pics. Leslie definitely knew who Brent was and mentioned meeting him a few times. Such a cool little guy. I told him what I was doing in New Orleans and that he should definitely check out the movie. Another fond memory of mine is when the producer, Dink, of Dink Flamingo, showed up for the weekend knocking on the door in a black and white polka dotted dress, and a big red hat, and a birthday cake quoting some southern belle line from Designing Women, for Brent's birthday which fell on the 31st. It was HILARIOUS. Shortly after that I went out on the porch for a smoke and chatted with Dink and he said in his southern belle accent, "MJ Taylor, I have to tell you, when they sent me the photos from your photo shoot the other day, I thought you were a FAT-ASS and that it was a mistake for putting you in this movie. But now that you're standin' in front of me with your shirt off, your body is banging. Just never wear those damn gray pants again." I guess he had saw my photo shoots from around the city. I'm glad that I got that cleared up. To tell you the truth, looking back on the pictures, compared to what I am now, it was a little beefier. But I'm really thankful that Dink said that to me. Because sometimes you need a little reminder like that to kick your ass in gear. Now I'm sure you guys are ready to hear more about my on scene and off scene hookups. I really don't want to spill too much about my scenes because I like them to be a surprise. I'm not even really sure who all filmed with who. But I did do a few scenes and didn't even know it until afterwards, but two of the boys were first timers that I personally broke in. As far as my off set hook-ups, if you know me at all,  altogether on cam and off, I fucked everybody but the camera crew (including Grant Roy), the cook, the producer, and the director. :) I'm really excited to see it. I haven't really watched very much of my work. Usually I just check out the previews, but this one has my full attention. I'm really curious what all made the cut. You get a new visual of yourself when you see yourself act on camera. With this movie, it's a little bit more than just porn. I don't really worry about how I look when I'm fucking someone, because it's sex. You have to be a real idiot to fuck up sex. But it's speaking, interacting, and presenting myself and having everything I do on camera that I want to see. It's kind of hard to explain, but in my head there's a way that I think I project and present myself but then when you see it on camera, it turns out so differently from what I thought it looked like. You see yourself as you really are and not how you think you are. For me I like it because if there's anything about myself I don't like, I can finally see it and work on it.

As for my first movie to be in, everything was a great, first experience. I truly do feel like I made some true friends that I still stay in contact with. I can't wait to work with Brent Corrigan again and definitely step up the game in future flicks. I really hope you guys check out this movie and love it.

Judge to say if jury learns suspects' porn-escort past

County judge expected to rule this week on motions related to Cuadra/Kerekes trial

Will accused killers Harlow Cuadra and Joseph Kerekes be tried together or separately for the murder of Bryan Kocis in Dallas Township in January 2007? Can their history of working as male escorts and producers of gay pornographic films, referred to in court filings as, “alleged prior bad acts,” be used by prosecutors to undermine their character? And will prosecutors be permitted to introduce a number of pieces of potentially incriminating evidence, including recordings and transcripts of conversations in which Cuadra and Kerekes told acquaintances intimate details about the murder? Luzerne County Judge Peter Paul Olszewski Jr. could answer those questions and more this week, when he is expected to rule on more than a dozen of the pre-trial motions filed by attorneys for Cuadra and Kerekes within the last four months.

Cuadra, 26, and Kerekes, 34, both of Virginia Beach, Va., are accused of killing Kocis, a rival producer of gay pornographic films, and later setting fire to his Midland Drive home. They face the death penalty and are scheduled to be tried together beginning Jan. 5, following the postponement of an original Sept. 2 start date. Attorneys for Cuadra and Kerekes have argued the one-time lovers and business partners have developed an “adversarial” relationship, with conflicting defense strategies, and should be tried separately. According to notices of possible alibi defense filed by both defendants, Cuadra and Kerekes could claim they were in Room 211 of the Fox Ridge Motel in Plains Township at the time Kocis was killed, 12 miles away. However, Kerekes has stated in conversations with acquaintance Renee Martin that he was in the room alone while Cuadra visited Kocis. “The jury will have no choice but to disbelieve the testimony offered on behalf of one of the defendants in order to believe the testimony offered on behalf of the other defendant,” attorneys for Cuadra and Kerekes said in a brief filed Aug. 6. In addition to the request for separate trials, attorneys for Cuadra and Kerekes have asked Olszewski to prohibit prosecutors from using statements Kerekes made to police immediately after his arrest in May 2007, conversations Cuadra and Kerekes had with Sean Lockhart and Grant Roy in San Diego in April 2007, e-mail messages Cuadra sent to Kocis in the days before the killing, and evidence seized from the home where Cuadra and Kerekes lived in Viriginia Beach that linked them to Kocis. Kerekes testified at a pre-trial hearing last month that the police interview, conducted May 15, 2007, at the headquarters of the Viriginia Beach Police Department, should be suppressed because the investigators, Cpl. Leo Hannon of state police and Special Agent James J. Glenn of the FBI, violated his right to an attorney. “They walked into the room and I said, ‘I want a lawyer,’” Kerekes said during brief testimony that was limited to the post-arrest police interview. “It was the first thing out of my mouth.” The investigators continued to ask questions about Kerekes’ employment history, military history, personal relationships and other background, the attorneys said. Kerekes began to cry during the interview and “swore on his mother’s life that he was not the one” who killed Kocis. Kerekes volunteered information about a motive, and hinted at his possible involvement, as he denied knowledge of a telephone conversation between Cuadra and Lockhart on Jan. 25, the day after the killing. According to prosecutors, Cuadra directed Lockhart to read about Kocis’ death on wnep.com, the Web site of WNEP-TV, and allegedly said, “I guess my guy went overboard.” “Are you going to believe the words from the lips of that boy?” Kerekes said during the police interview, referring to Lockhart, who starred in gay pornographic films produced by Kocis. “It wasn’t about money. We have money.” The attorneys questioned the validity of the San Diego conversations because of conflicts in California and Pennsylvania law governing the use of hidden recording devices by investigators and because Roy, who volunteered to wear such a device, had originally been identified as a suspect in Kocis’ death. Kocis had, until days before his death, been locked in a lawsuit with Roy and Lockhart over Lockhart’s ability to work for other companies using his stage name, Brent Corrigan. “It was quick. He never saw it coming,” Cuadra said, according to transcripts of the San Diego conversations. “Actually seeing that (expletive) go down,” Cuadra said later in the transcript, allegedly referring to Kocis. “It’s actually sick, but it made me feel better inside.” The e-mail messages, obtained by prosecutors through six search warrants from Jan. 30, 2007, to Aug. 27, 2007, show Cuadra established communication with Kocis on Jan. 22, two days before his death. Cuadra wrote to Kocis posing as an inexperienced pornographic film actor named “Danny Moilin.” He created an e-mail address on Jan. 22, 2007, solely to contact Kocis, prosecutors said. Prosecutors said Cuadra created the Moilin character as a ruse to gain a private meeting with Kocis, 46, who led a nearly reclusive life. Cuadra sent Kocis photographs of himself, tying him to the Moilin character, and ordered an online background check of Kocis days before the murder, prosecutors said. Cuadra also called Kocis on a cell phone purchased and used to call only Kocis, and rented a vehicle that was seen by witnesses in Kocis’ driveway around the time of the killing, prosecutors said. Attorneys for Cuadra said the search warrants used to obtain the e-mail messages, from Yahoo, Excite and MySpace, were granted without sufficient probable cause.
