John McCain iPhone Pic Finds Way to Gay Porn Web Site

Back in January, Senator John McCain's daughter, Meghan, told an audience at the University of Florida that her father was "coming along" in terms of supporting gay marriage. If you believe everything you see on gay porn Web sites, "The Maverick" seems to be making enormous strides. McCain's image was found on a gay porn Web site called Guys With iPhones over the weekend. Guys With iPhones is a site where men post photos they take of themselves while clutching their iPhones. In many cases, however, those men are often naked and clutching their junk, too. McCain (thankfully) is fully clothed in his pic, and how the image came to find its way onto a gay porn site is almost as funny as seeing Arizona's senior senator's image grouped in with hundreds of naked, gay men -- all dawning that come-hither stare. Apparently, in an attempt to show voters how hip he truly is, McCain used his iPhone to take a photo of himself for his Twitter page to prove that he actually knows how to use the iPhone. Because there is currently no "app" to directly upload photos from the iPhone to Guys With iPhones, images need to be submitted by e-mail or be directly uploaded to the site from a computer, which makes it easy to submit just about any picture someone can find on the internet. The McCain camp insists that "The Maverick" isn't the one who posted the photo, but rather someone took the image from his Twitter page and submitted it without his knowledge. Like most public Web forums, users can comment on the photos posted on Guys With iPhones and people had plenty to say about seeing McCain's mug on the site. Here's one of our favorite comments: "Whoa, this is Guys With iPhone, not old hag Republicans with iPhones! We have standards here!" Ummm, it's a Web site where gay guys post pictures of their penises -- exactly what standards are we talking about here? story from Phoenix News Blog

Grindr Glitch Causes Panic & Rumour Among iPhone Users!

Gay cruising app Grindr is once again available for download in the iTunes App Store. Grindr creator Joel Simkhai confirmed that the app is alive and well. "Error on my part," he told Queerty. "Should be back up by EOD [end of day] today." Following the news that Grindr was missing from the iTunes App Store this morning, Twitter lit up with panicked tweets suggesting that Apple deleted the app. Apple controls the approval of all iPhone apps, and they're notoriously strict when it comes to sexy apps. It's good to know that today's Grindr incident was just a glitch, but there's still the troubling fact that Apple requires all apps to comply with prudish guidelines. As we've seen in the past month, Apple continues to reject and delete apps that are too sexy. REPORTED FROM  XTRA.CA

Gay Hanky Code Application Comes To iPhone/iTouch

gay-hanky-codeThe hanky code - a phenomenon popular in the 70s whereby men seeking men would display different coloured hankies in their back pockets according to their tastes - is getting a second life as an application for the iPhone. "Suppose you were at a bar and you saw someone with a real hanky in their back pocket, you could just pull up the app real quick, click on the colour and it would give you the meaning," explains Jonathan Leach, the co-creator of the Hanky Code application. "The app also will light up your screen with a picture of whatever hanky you are so the iPhone actually becomes the hanky. "If you're at a coffee shop or a restaurant somewhere and you're working on your computer you can have your iPhone to the left or to the right of your computer or your coffee and guys walk by and the notice it and they're like 'hmm'." Traditional hanky colours and their meanings include light blue for oral sex, navy blue for anal sex, grey for bondage, gold for threesomes, and pick for sex using dildos. More Information on the Application Can Be Found On The Web: http://www.hankycode.net/ hankycode900

Gay Pimpin’ with Jonny McGovern is About to Invade iPhones

Jonny_mcgovern-gay_pimpJonny “The Gay Pimp” McGovern first exploded on the scene with his over-the-top queer music videos, including the infamous, “Soccer Practice”. The music catapulted him into our tv sets with Logo’s comedy hit The Big Gay Sketch Show. Then he was on our i-pods with the top rated gay podcast show on i-Tunes, Gay Pimpin’ with Jonny McGovern. Now, he’s about to invade i-phones! You heard it right. Jonny is helping to launch the first gay mobile network, Moxieq.com. Billed as mobile entertainment with a gay sensibility, Moxieq premieres on i-phones this fall – with our Big Gay Daddy as its campaign pimp. We spoke with Jonny as he prepared to introduce the network to his Kansas City fans when he performs two live comedy shows on October 21st and 22nd.
Why do you want to spread Faggotiness?
Jonny: My message has always been about being as gay as you wanna be and not letting nobody tell you different. In high school I spent a lot of time worrying about being too faggoty but as I came out and came into my own, I realized those faggoty things made me more myself. They weren’t something to hide, but celebrate.
Are you trying to corrupt the nation’s youth?
The more proud, out, faggoty homos, the better!
Music, videos, TV shows, now an i-phone show… all celebrating your gayness.  What’s next?
Tattoos! Feel free to download yer fave Jonny McGovern pic and have it tattooed on your most desirous body part. How about my face on yer butt cheek with a speech bubble saying “enter here”?
Did you ever imagine that you would build an empire based on gayness?
Who knew? Donald trump tried to buy my gayness for 20 million last year. I laughed in his face!   Who is your audience?
My audience is wide and varied. From gay teens who write that I helped them be able to come out by listening to my podcast to older homos who write to thank me for making them laugh and feel youthful. I even have my straight ladies and some lezbos! I take ‘em all.
Can the Gay Pimp transcend into mainstream?  Will straight society ever get you?
I believe mainstream is ready for my jelly. It will take the vision of someone in power to bring me to them. I just need the right project and the right time and then presto! I’ll be in living rooms everywhere.
That’s a scary thought, Jonny. Speaking of the ladies, how are they responding to your latest single, “Don’t Fall in Love with a Homo”?  Are they heeding the Gay Pimp’s advice?
I get a lot of mail from ladies saying they promise not to fall in love with me but that they love the song. Some throw panties on stage. Some say “too late...I love you, Jonny!”
Is it true the song actually helped you land the gig with Moxieq?
It’s true. Moxieq is more Bravo or Lifetime TV than Logo. A lot of straight girls tune into Moxie. I’ll be doling out advice to girls, including signs to look out for that they may be dating a fag.
You think straight guys can turn gay?
Straight guys love any chance to take out their cock and swing it around. That’s why they are so easy to get in bed.
What message do you have for your gay fans this Pride?   I’m a comedian and everything I do is based on fun and jokes. But underneath it all is a message about self empowerment for all gay people. It’s about feeling good about yourself, whoever you are.
Jonny performs at Flo’s Cabaret 1911 Main St., Kansas City, Mo. October 21 and October 22 Tickets are limited and are $20 each. To purchase, call or stop by Flo’s Cabaret. (816) 283-FLOS Catch him now on your i-phone at moxieq.com.

Double-Standard for Gay iPhone Apps?

gay-iphone-appApple is maintaining a double-standard when it comes to gay-themed iPhone apps, a developer claims. Attempting to draw publicity, Terry Ray claims that his iGaydar title was rejected from the App Store on the same day as Bruno -- an app based on the Sacha Baron Cohen movie -- was approved. iGaydar was rejected for "objectionable content," despite being considerably less graphic than the Bruno app, according to Ray.

iGaydar pretends to detect a person's sexuality, first displaying a random percentage and then announcing a tongue-in-cheek statement, such as "Honey, not even your priorities are straight." By contrast the Bruno app lets users undress Cohen's character, and touch various body parts which can elicit potentially offensive responses. Bruno is only on the App Store as a result of major studio backing and publicity, Ray charges.

Apple has rejected a number of apps with sex-related themes in the past, even when the titles did not show anything explicit. Naughty Loaded Dice was briefly blocked earlier in July, while an e-book reader, Eucalyptus, was temporarily blocked in May. Though only meant as general-purpose reading software, one of the books available for Eucalyptus is the Kama Sutra, a centuries-old Indian religious text that Apple deemed "inappropriate sexual content."

Stolen IPhone

The cute stickam star, Matthew Lush and his boyfriend (another cutie) explain what happen with their IPhone and how Apple and AT&T couldn't care less about their customers, watch the video and find out why.

What would happen if you lost your iPhone, if you haven’t already? I don’t know what I would do without mine. I know I’d make a lot less calls, that’s for sure. If your iPhone were to get stolen, it can find itself. one of our viewers Adam wrote:

I brought my truck over to my father-in-law to have him work on the brakes. I ended having to order a part for my truck, and decided to leave it at his house overnight as I had to work the next day, and felt it was unsafe to drive. When I got home that night around 9:00 pm, I came to the realization that I had left my iPhone in the center console. It wasn’t a big deal at the time, because they only live about 10 miles away, and I could easily swing by in the morning and pick it up. Sometime between 10:00pm and 3:00am the truck was stolen. When I received the phone call telling me this, I went into panic-mode. You see, I didn’t care about the truck being stolen, but the first thing I thought of was my iPhone. My wife told me I was acting like I had lost our child. While I was filling out the police report, I just happened to blurt out “They have my iPhone!”. Apparently the officer wrote that down, and the next day a detective contacted me. He wanted to know if I had indeed left my iPhone in the truck. I told him yes, and he said he would call me back. The next day I received a phone call stating that had found my truck. I asked them if they checked to see if my iPhone was still in the truck, and they said “How do you think we found your truck?”. I was dumb-founded. Somehow, they worked with AT&T (Yes my phone is not unlocked) and they were able to use the iPhone as a beacon I guess. I am so glad that I made the decision to purchase this phone. It was worth being an early adopter. The iPhone is the greatest phone I have ever owned, it saved me the hassle of having to get a new vehicle, and it’s a “crime-fighter”.

In the event you do misplace your iPhone, you might want to let the authorities know that they can trace your phone through AT&T. We know there are programs for our laptops, but did you even know that your iPhone can be found this way, as well? What do you think about this? Do you feel more secure knowing that Apple and AT&T can find out where you phone is at any given time? Or does that kind of creep you out? Do you trust them with this much control and information? I personally feel secure, knowing that if I were to lose my iPhone, it could hopefully easily be found for me.
