drdrewbioLoveline began in 1983 as a Sunday night segment on Los Angeles radio station KROQ, hosted by DJ Jim "Poorman" Trenton and DJ Swedish Egil (Egil Aalvik). About a year later, Trenton added a segment called Ask a Surgeon, hosted by his friend Dr. Drew Pinsky, who was not yet a doctor but a fourth-year medical student at the University of Southern California. Loveline follows the call-in question-and-answer model with the primary goal of helping youth and young adults with relationship, sexuality, and drug addiction problems. As a practicing internist and addictionologist with training in psychology, Dr. Drew's answers have medical credibility.

brent_corrigan_love_line1

The most popular boy in school and SuperStar of Gay Porn, Brent Corrigan is so excited it almost hurts when he goes to pee. Why all the excitement? Brent Corrigan is going to be on the line ... the LOVE line, September 24th at 10PM PST (that's this coming Thursday night) so mark your calendars! Brent will be the celebrity guest on Dr. Drew's Loveline. Be sure to tune to to Loveline or we will be broadcasting the audio feed right here on Just One Hot Minute and of course on Brent's blog.

You can call into the show at 1-800-Love-191

Brent says on his blog:
"From the shameless self promotion sect, I would like to demonstrate to America, Dr. Drew and the producers of LoveLine that I do reach the next generation of queer Americans (and Mexicans and Canadians!). I urge you to call in if you have any questions for me or the other guest. But be patient, it’s not easy to get on the line. I recommend that if you do want a chance to converse with me, live on the air, you should try to stick to the topics at hand."
