Canadian singing sensation Rufus Wainwright has a bombshell confession to make. In an interview with Details, the openly gay singer says he just “knows” that rapper 50 Cent is gay. When asked what makes him so sure, he said, “that cute little voice of his.” We aren’t sure “cute” is the most fitting adjective for 50, but hey, to each his own. Wainwright continued to gush about 50, whom he calls “just the sexiest and a brilliant writer.” “It’s okay, 50 Cent,” he said. “Feel free to call me anytime. My boyfriend and I are experts. You can come over for dinner. And maybe dessert.” As for the “Hallelujah” singer’s other addictions? “I’m addicted to ‘Real Housewives of Orange County’ and ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians.’ I get sideswiped by the boobs, the hair, the butts, the jewels, the cars, the bad boys …” For more go to Details.com

The Toronto lawyer representing the road manager of the Black Eyed Peas said his client will not be pleading guilty to allegations that he beat up celebrity blogger Perez Hilton.
Polo Molina, 36, who works for the chart-topping American band, was scheduled to appear at a downtown Toronto court Wednesday afternoon. Instead, Mark Sandler, an affable, veteran Toronto lawyer, stood briefly in court on his behalf.
He said the Crown attorneys have provided him with the disclosure which details the allegations against his client. Molina does not have to attend court until the case goes to trial and that may not be for another several months, he said.
"He won't be pleading guilty," Sandler later said.
Hilton, whose real name is Mario Lavandeira, alleges that Molina punched him in the face outside a Toronto nightclub after the MuchMusic Video Awards on June 22.
Hilton immediately sent messages via Twitter indicating that he had been in a fight with the Peas' entourage.
Molina subsequently turned himself in to Toronto police and was later charged with assault.
Days later, Hilton filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles Superior Court against Molina, alleging battery and intentional infliction of emotional distress. He is seeking unspecified damages.
The suit said Molina punched Hilton several times, injuring an eye "in what can only be described as a spineless act."
Hilton has said Molina was angry with him for making negative comments about the band's latest album, The E.N.D., which debuted at No. 1 on the U.S. pop chart in June. The blogger also has admitted to calling Black Eyed Peas frontman will.i.am an anti-gay slur at a club the night of the altercation.
The criminal case will return to court on Aug. 26.

Lady Gaga makes a point of taking care of her "little monsters." That explains why the singer took time out from her busy touring and recording schedule on Wednesday to voice her support for 15-year-old Tennessee high school student Cole Goforth, who was sent home by officials at Greenbrier High School for wearing a T-shirt with the slogan "I Heart Lady Gay Gay."
"Thank u for wearing your tee-shirt proud at school, you make me so proud, at the monsterball, you are an inspiration to us all. I love you," Gaga tweeted on Wednesday, explaining that she'd been in the studio "for days and hours of record after record" when she heard one of her monsters was being discriminated against by teachers.
"I love you Cole, you just be yourself," she added early Thursday morning while on tour in Australia. "You're perfect the way God made you."
According to WSMV in Nashville, the fight over the shirt has turned into a First Amendment issue after Goforth's mother claimed that the school is violating her son's right to free speech by sending him home to change out of the shirt when other kids who wear shirts with religious slogans or Confederate flags aren't treated the same way.
Goforth, who is openly gay, drew the attention of his school's administrators on Monday, when he wore the shirt that pays homage to Gaga and her large gay following. He was sent home and ordered to change before returning to school because the shirt was allegedly causing a disruption. His mother said he's worn shirts with the word gay on them before with no problem and speculated that the issue is more about her son's look and orientation than the slogan.
"I think they are singling him out, I really do, and they've made statements that if he wore this in California, he'd fit in just fine," said mom Julie Gordon.

Cyndi Lauper is using her stint on The Celebrity Apprentice to further her already vocal support for gay rights. She recently launched the Give a Damn campaign through her True Colors Fund. The new campaign encourages everyone — gay, straight, transgender, lesbian, bisexual — to get informed about and involved with LGBT issues and causes. Now, Lauper is localizing her campaign even more by opening a shelter for homeless LGBT youths in Harlem.
According to DNA Info, advocates say that "Many homeless LGBT youth face violence in mainstream shelters, forcing them to rely on a small network of gay-friendly facilities."The National Gay and Lesbian Task Force reports that there are between 15,000 and 20,000 homeless youths in New York City, and, of that number, roughly 3,000 to 8,000 of them identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender.
The True Colors Residence, which is slated to open in 2011, will offer a safe haven for LGBT youths between the ages of 18 to 24 who need a place to stay while they get back on their feet. It will be the first permanent residence in Manhattan for LGBT homeless young adults. The $11 million of funding for the six-story building, which will "contain 30 studio apartments, communal space, a library and a computer room" will come from Lauper's True Colors Fund, the city's Department of Housing Preservation and Development and some additional corporate, city and state sources.
In a statement about what inspired her to open the new shelter, Lauper said: "Kids are coming out in greater numbers as they see themselves accepted and represented on TV and in movies, but they’re still being kicked out of their homes or running away and living on the streets. We need to make sure we’re taking care of them. This is the next generation of the LGBT community."
The four emergency and two transitional shelters that currently exist in New York City only provide temporary solutions for LGBT youths coping with difficult living situations or negative feedback in response to their coming out. Many youth programs only shelter people up to the age of 21, so the 3 year addition to the age span at the True Colors Shelter will help even more young adults transition through what is often an extremely difficult time in their lives.

Singer Ricky Martin is feeling "stronger than ever" after publicly coming out as gay on Tuesday.
The 38-year-old singer, who revealed he is homosexual in an emotional message on his official website, took to Twitter to thank his fans for their support.
He wrote: "Whats going on gang?I'm doing great! Stronger than ever! I'm here relaxing @ home enjoying ur messages! I feel the love! Thanx for all! peace"
The Puerto Rican star also wrote the message in Spanish for his international fan base.
Writing on his official website, Martin claimed it was the birth of his twin boys Matteo and Valentino from a surrogate in August 2008 that led him to admit his sexuality.
He said: "To keep living as I did up until today would be to indirectly diminish the glow that my kids where born with. Enough is enough. This has to change."
The Livin' la Vida Loca singer also revealed it took him many years of contemplation to announce he was a homosexual man.
He said: "This was not supposed to happen 5 or 10 years ago, it is supposed to happen now. Today is my day, this is my time, and this is my moment.
"These years in silence and reflection made me stronger and reminded me that acceptance has to come from within and that this kind of truth gives me the power to conquer emotions I didn't even know existed.
"I am proud to say that I am a fortunate homosexual man. I am very blessed to be who I am."

Q. Are the guys in the freecreditreport.com ads a real band?
A. No, and the Web site doesn't really offer free credit reports either.
To get a credit report from the Web site that the ads tout, you sign up for a trial membership in Experian's Triple Advantage Credit Monitoring service. Unless the membership is canceled during the seven-day trial period, you will be billed $14.95 a month for the service. The official site where you can request the free annual credit reports to which you are entitled by federal law is www.AnnualCreditReport.com. Or you can call toll-free 877-322-8228 or mail a written request to Annual Credit Report Request Service, P.O. Box 105281, Atlanta, GA 30348-5281.
Back to the band: It is certainly popular, with its own Web site, YouTube channel, Facebook fan page, and so on. But it is fictional.
The main singer is played by Eric Violette, Canadian-Frenchie actor and musician. Last year, he responded to a question from The Washington Post about the ads' popularity by saying: "The songs are very catchy three-chord pop songs. I think it's also because of my curly hair."
Violette told the Post he is working on writing some of his own songs and forming a band called God Against God. But the songs in the ads are written by Dave Mulhefeld of the Martin Agency, the company also responsible for the Geico gecko.
It's not a real talking lizard, either, sadly.
Internet gossip suggests that he doesn’t actually speak English well, and he doesn’t know how to play the guitar. Those are lies! According to his Web site, he does speak English and is an actor/musician who plays the piano and guitar. He’s also single, and possibly has good credit. Boys, make a single file line and no pushing.
It just so happens he may have a "lil sugar in in his tank". He's entirely French, but even if you don't speak the language, there's enough on his website there to keep any gay boy fan happy -- including a video of him performing an amazing (and very very sexy!) French blues song called "Voracite Feminine (Feminine Voracity)" which he himself wrote. A very close and trusted source of ours who is a Canadian gay porn personality has told us that Eric can often be found hanging out in the more popular gay bars there in Canada.
