Levi Johnston’s Playgirl Photo Shoot Leaked! Check The Pics Out Here - Is This Porn?

When Oprah asked Sarah Palin about Levi Johnston’s Playgirl shoot, she said, “I call it porn.” But is it? These pictures prove that Levi didn’t show us everything — so to speak — and the pictures don’t include any frontal nudity. The pictures of the 19-year old are no more explicit than what you’d see on an episode of Nip/Tuck and less (homo)erotic than an Ultimate Fight Championship match. Some shower shots with a strategically-placed towel, a naked backside and some steamed-up mirror pics. That’s it. While porn doesn’t have to be erotic, it usually does need to be explicit. As Justice Potter Stewart said in his concurring opinion in 1964 obscenity case, “I know it when I see it.” It’s hard to know what Justice Stewart would say about Johnston’s soft-core erotica, but he probably wouldn’t consider it porn either. Not sure what he’d say about Carrie Prejean’s videos. Glancing at the Johnston pics and perusing the free parts of Playgirl.com, it’s easy to think that the porn threshold has been raised and that beefcake pics of a 19-year old baby daddy just aren’t that shocking. You can see more explicit pics on a Google image search of almost any random phrase. Johnston’s decision to strip for Playgirl follows an oddly common script: young person without much other talent taking advantage of a few minutes of fame — or desperate for a little money — and posing naked before the cameras. Women have been doing it for generations and Johnston is just putting his spin on the rather sad tale. Johnston has gotten a lot of attention in gossip and entertainment world, but also plenty of buzz in the gay press and blogosphere. At Advocate.com, the gay news and entertainment site acknowledged that it had been all-Johnston, all-the-time and asked Playgirl marketing director Daniel Nardicio – who founded DList.com, the gay social networking/hook-up site — about Johnston’s gay appeal. Nardicio’s response: “It’s because he’s hot! And it’s political.” While his being “hot” is still up in the air, there’s not doubt that he’s political even if we don’t know a thing about his political beliefs. He was thrust onto the public by Palin and he instantly became a celebrity, even though his only claim was having gotten the candidate’s daughter pregnant. Now, he’s a 19-year old with a kid who has a famous grandmother. His own meth dealing mom just got sentenced to jail for three mom, the grandmother is trashing the father on Oprah, and all he has to show for it is a fickle gay fanbase and some Playgirl shots in a towel. So, is it porn? Probably not to most people, not even most people in Palin’s support base. But that doesn’t mean it isn’t a little sad, especially when you consider how Johnston ended up stripped down to a strategically-placed towel.

Get A Peek At Adam Lambert's New Album Photo Shoot
Thursday morning, Adam Lambert tweeted that his eagerly anticipated debut album would be out on November 24. The album — which includes production work from Lady Gaga producer RedOne and Green Day sonic mastermind Rob Cavallo — creates an interesting four-way battle between four former "Idol" contestants, as Carrie Underwood, Kris Allen and Jason Castro will all be putting out records on the same day. Allen of course won this past season's competition, while Underwood has arguably been the most successful "American Idol" victor. And Castro was the laid-back, dreadlocked charmer who shrugged and smirked his way through the show's seventh season. Each album should satisfy a different demographic, but it should be an interesting referendum on which "Idol" has the most staying power.
Adam Lambert might have finished as runner-up on "American Idol" this past season, but the Idols Live tour, which took place Wednesday at a packed Allstate Arena, belonged almost solely to the 27-year-old California native.
Lambert entered the arena to the strains of Led Zeppelin's "Whole Lotta Love," drawing some of the night's loudest cheers as he slithered around his microphone stand like a particularly seductive cobra. Decked out in fingerless black gloves, a knee-length, faux-lizard jacket (complete with shoulder spikes) and tight leather pants, Lambert looked like a cross between David Bowie in "Labyrinth" and a grungy extra from John Carpenter's "Escape From New York." Despite his obvious celebrity, the singer appeared most comfortable portraying the outsider; songs touched on venturing alone into the cosmos ("Starlight," "Life On Mars") and feeling out of place right here on Earth (an eerie "Mad World").
While Lambert's emergence is a clear boon to the Idol brand—the series hasn't developed a true breakout star since Carrie Underwood—it made for an anticlimactic close to the three-hour event. Sure, Idol champ Kris Allen brought an All-American charm to light-soul takes on Kanye West ("Heartless") and the Killers ("All These Things That I've Done"), but he lacked Lambert's dynamic stage presence and stylistic range.
The rest of the evening was, to put it politely, a mixed bag. Danny Gokey mangled "P.Y.T. (Pretty Young Thing)" and channeled a drunk at a wedding as he attempted an awkward tango on "Maria Maria." CQ Allison Iraheta prowled the stage like a feral cat and howled like a banshee on a trio of mostly-excellent rock songs. Megan Joy, her platinum blonde hair piled into a towering faux-hawk, wouldn't even have impressed the notoriously forgiving Paula Abdul with her off-key warbling. Logistically, the show was much improved from recent years. Idols weren't required to shill for corporate sponsors from the stage (advertisements were instead crammed into the 20-minute intermission/commercial break) and there were no costumed toaster pastries wandering the venue and intermittently firing t-shirt cannons. Now if only producers would do something about those cringe-worthy group numbers. Credits: MTV and Chicago Tribune

Milk screenwriter Dustin Lance Black has filed a lawsuit over intimate photos that were leaked to the public, according to reports. The Oscar-winning writer released a statement in June that images of him engaging in sexual activities were meant to be kept "private".
Black is suing Starzlife.com and a man he claims stole the photos from Black's ex-boyfriend for $3 million, claiming he's suffered invasion of privacy, copyright infringement and violation of the right of publicity, among other things.
The documents filed in a California Central District court state that the Black asked his sex partner Jeff Delancy to delete any explicit photos he had taken of the two of them, while he admitted that he was aware that video footage of their encounters was in existence.
Black claims invasion of privacy and copyright infringement in his lawsuit and is seeking $3m in damages, plus any monies the company made from the distribution of the images.
No charges have yet been filed seeking claim from Perez Hilton, who by large distributed the images at a far more grand scale than Starzlife. Sometime back Starzlife removed the Black images from their website.

Firefighters Bare Plenty
To create buzz for your cause, nothing helps quite like four bare-chested and muscled Atlanta firefighters. Just ask those on hand April 18 for the mini fashion show and silent auction at Urban Body Studios in Midtown Atlanta, Georgia. They will tell you that those public servants certainly did the trick.
But these weren’t just any firefighters. They were four of the several featured in the 2009 Georgia Heat Firefighters Calendar, which raises funds to help burn victims in their recovery. The calendar, which features the work of gay photographer Tim Wilkerson, is an annual hit among the gays, several of which crowded around the firefighters Saturday for their autographs.
In addition to pitching the $15 calendars, the event last weekend also served as a fundraiser for Action Cycling Atlanta, the group that raises funds for the Emory Vaccine Center through its annual two-day ride through North Georgia. Urban Body Studios is one of several sponsors for this year’s ride, which is set for May 16-17.
Last year, some 65 riders helped raise $106,000 for the Emory facility. The ride has raised more than $400,000 since its inception in 2003. (View photos from the 2008 ride.)
