Gay Professional Wrestler Found Dead in NYC

Police say a man who identified himself as one of the first openly gay professional wrestlers was found dead of an apparent suicide in his New York City apartment. Police say Chris Klucsaritis (KLOO'-suh-REYE'-tihs) was found by his brother in the living room of his apartment Friday. A suicide note has been recovered. The 40-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene. The Medical Examiner's office is investigating to determine the exact cause of death. Klucsaritis wrestled under the name Chris Kanyon. He started his career in the late 1990s and was part of the championship tag team "Men at Work." He later joined World Wrestling Entertainment. He retired in 2004. But Klucsaritis still wrestled on occasion, billing himself as an openly gay wrestler. Associated Press Reporting

Jericho Apologizes For Homophobic & Racist Remarks

chrisjerichoThe Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) is effectively rejecting what they call Chris Jericho's "insincere and worn" apology for using anti-gay and racist slurs at a recent film festival. Chris is shown in the image to the left. GLAAD president Jarrett Barrios issued the following statement to TMZ.com this afternon: "Just three months ago Chris Jericho's boss and WWE Chairman Vince McMahon acknowledged to GLAAD that words matter. There is no time, context or occasion in which it is acceptable to utter racist and anti-gay slurs. City Officials Seek Court Order To Close Gay Party

Attorney General Peter Nickles is seeking an injunction to shut down the so-called gay Men's Party operating out of a townhouse at 1618 14th St., N.W., saying the gathering is operating as a business without the required license. The action this week in D.C. Superior Court comes 11 days after a gathering participant was found dead on the premises from an apparent accidental fall. It also follows news reports that the Men's Party was operating as a gay male sex club and that the Logan Circle Advisory Neighborhood Commission has asked the city to determine whether the gathering was complying with city laws and regulations. The six-page lawsuit says that the Men's Party, as an unauthorized business, is using the townhouse where it operates without a required Certificate of Occupancy designated for a business. The lawsuit says the Men's Party is instead improperly operating under an occupancy permit designated for "a single family dwelling." Defendants in the suit are identified in the court filing as the D.C. Wrestling Club, Inc., David J. Butler, director and owner; David J. Butler; and 1618 14th St., N.W., LLC c/o S. Jaffe. The 1618 14th St., N.W., LLC is identified as the owner of the building. City law "authorizes the attorney general of the District of Columbia to institute an action for injunctive relief to abate the illegal operation of a business without the appropriate certificate of occupancy," the lawsuit says. "Wherefore, plaintiff prays that the court issue an injunction enjoining defendants, David J. Butler, DC Wrestling Club, Inc., and 1618 14th St., N.W., LLC, from operating and hosting "men's parties" at the premises until such time as they obtain the required Certificate of Occupancy from the Department of Consumer & Regulatory Affairs to engage in legal activity." The suit makes no mention of the Men's Party purported operations as a sex club, however we have been researching and found the sex party operates by proclaiming that it is an organization of men who enjoy "wrestling".

Monday's RAW Stirs Outrage

The Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation has posted on their blog that they are upset that Vince McMahon "belittled" the Cirque du Soleil performers that appeared on Monday Night Raw by saying that the masks they were wearing were "really gay". The Porn Wrestler Returns

PAULDONAHOE3The porn career of Paul Donahoe, the star collegiate wrestler kicked off his team for appearing on a gay porn site, looks like it’s not over.  He is scheduled once again to bare all for the same site, Fratmen.tv. Donahoe appeared on Fratmen as “Nash,” shown solo naked and masturbating last summer. When his identity was discovered, he was kicked off the University of Nebraska team. “We are planning on featuring ‘Nash’ after the debut of ‘Outside the Lines’ on ESPN,” a Fratmen spokesman told Outsports, confirming what I have been hearing for weeks. ESPN’s “Outside the Lines” on Sunday will look into the dismissal of Donahoe and fellow wrestler and Fratmen model Kenny ‘Cal” Jordan, and issues surrounding the Nebraska wrestling program.

Donahoe as “Nash” was set to appear in a live show on Fratmen on May 13. The show was canceled over what Fratmen said was an equipment failure — no, not Nash’s “equipment,” but what was called a balky webcam. He was rescheduled for May 20, but that was postponed until after the ESPN show aired, a Fratmen spokesman wrote on the Just Us Boys wesbite:
Paul is indeed being featured on the ESPN show “Outside the Lines” that was originally postponed from early May and is currently scheduled to air June 14th. He feels (and I agree) that it would be better to postpone his return Fratmen.TV LIVE! show until after the ESPN story airs to see how it all plays out.
Their is still no guarantee that Donahoe will show his goods again. He got $2,000 last year and I would guess the notoriety drove his price up, so it’s pretty easy money (he is also being wooed by other porn sites). Donahoe has never felt the need to apologize for appearing naked in the first place and said he did it for the money. His collegiate wrestling career (where he won one national title and was runneup once) is over, so he has no fear of athletic repercussions. But I was told by a writer for one porn site that Donahoe has repeatedly made appointments with Fratmen, then canceled, so he’s either flaky, getting cold feet, holding out for a better deal or looking for a fluffer.
